Making sure you have adequate vitamins (D, calcium, B12, C) in the meantime could be a good start until you find something more specifically geared toward bipolar.

I've never dealt with it but I do know what the trek to find the right medicinal/chemical balance can be. Good luck out-there.

Fish oil is supposed to be effective. Eat lots of fresh fish and meditate and get on a regular pattern. Avoid stress, if that's at all possible...

Oh and you can get some kind of lithium or lithium substitute over the counter, that might work better than fish oil.
