Helper, I have a computer that has never been connected to the Internet. It's about ten years old.
I couldn't tell you which Antivirus to use. It is my opinion that the very Antivirus you have IS the problem.
Listen to me for a second - any company that wants you to believe you need its help is not your friend. And when you buy these products it should be enough - but it never is enough. They want you to keep buying more.
They have hidden computer programs that constantly tax your computer until you finally shoot it in the head.

My computer is clean and infection free. I use a smartphone for my internet needs - it's hard to infect a phone because Google and the service provider have industrial strength Trojan fighters.
I'm sorry I can't be more help, but I have been where you're at.
If you don't do a System Restore there's going to come a point where you can't. The computer constantly updates the restore date. It gives you a doorway out of your problems to an earlier time period BEFORE the problem happened. BUT once your computer updates that door out can vanish and then you're stuck doing it the hard way.
I know what i'm talking about - you'll find what i'm saying to be true - but by the time you realize this it at very well be too late.

Hey' now....about your computer problems - all that antivirus and malware IS the problem.

And, if it's taking a long time after you right click on a file or folder, you may want to look at you C drive and see how much storage is left.

Also, you can use Task Manager to see what hidden programs are draining your RAM

I would unplug from the Net and perform a System Recovery.

It sounds like you have multiple things going on and it's hitting you all at once.

I'm not sure what the trouble is - maybe the color settings or web color compatability, the upload wasn't what I expected.
