Heck, some Chinese company would probably buy it--if another Chinese company did not outright pirate it!

Indeed! The marketing possibilities are certainly open.
I've been Patented for 2 years now. I've submitted my design to all the obvious companies (Colgate/Palmolive, Proctor&Gambol, etc). So far they have seen fit to decline. The manufacturing process seems a lot like trying to make it as an actor in Hollywood. If you're "born" into it or know somebody then you're SOL.
I'm just trying to get some exposure with people who may (or may not) know people in the manufacturing/production game....
If, in the course of your adventures, you rub shoulders with someone who has an itch for "new" ideas/inventions please remember me.

Fascinating invention!

I think you should market it as a "travel brush". Here's why: Let's say you are taking a long flight or a series of flights. Your mouth starts to feel dirty. You can chew gum, but it doesn't clean like a toothbrush and toothbrush. You are limited to a small quantity of toothpaste due to TSA regs. And that is TWO things to keep track of. But with YOUR toothbrush, there would be just one thing to keep track of. Then, once inside an airport washroom, you would not need to fiddle with a toothpaste tube!

CNN? Egad! Well, just be sure to give me a heads up well in advance of your journey. We'll need a little correspondence via postal service.
And if, by the way, your adventures takes you to the Gambia, stop into the vet (animal) clinic and say hi to Micha (apparently the only animal physician in the Gambia). A German fellow who practically gives free range dogs new life by squeezing the mango worms right out of their hide.
