sometimes my poems are real abstract.. alot of times i have no idea what im writing .. mostly theres a tune in my head and i write along into that rhythm

It seems once you've wrote it down....it's pinned (no longer abstract).
As for your method of extraction (the tune and rhythm in your mind) it seems unusual but very unique - it works.
Keep it up, you may have some one-hit wonders in your future.
