Anytime I brought to my attention that Im sad or I dont like the waymy dad talked to me.

Or anything I was traumatized by my m9m and dad always dismissed it. Always.
Now as an adult my father was very twisted and abusive.
He loved me bit his words damaged me for life.
He was very unintelligent and had serious mental issues he would never address.
I never got mature love growing up.
My father would say he was the father and he is always right.
I as an adult try to find something I like about him. I cant.
He never taught me anything and his abuse damaged me for life.
To this day I can never address these important issues.
Its hard to let this go because it affected me so badly.
Anyone want to talk to me?

Hi, i'm sorry you experienced such an abuse from your father, and that it damaged you for life.. :(

You might not get consoled enought from the fact that many of us are in the same boat. But the good news is, there is healing and one can overcome the damage and trauma..

It is a long and often painful journey, but it does improve and it does get better.

Finding the right therapist can be a challenge even if you have enough finances. Not many are trauma informed. I have abundant number of resources for healing childhood abuse and trauma, and am happy to share if you would be interested.

You will be able to address the trauma and will be set free; please don't despair.
