Why a computer generated musical hook, dubbed the millenial hook, has destroyed music.

My last year of playing for sky saxon of the "seeds" taught me a lot. One was its better to play music with soul,than to sell out and give record labels what they demanded. We were all struggling. But happy ....
It sells.The millenial hook sells. That doesn't mean it's good music. It works as far as the record labels are concerned. It takes the soul out of music. It ties the hands of great artists. It wasnt like this in the 60s to 90s.
Its a tried and true format. The record labels will not gamble with music that doesnt use this format.
You wondered why music today is horrendous.
Now you know.
Advice. Support artists like myself who don't use a record label.
There is still great music coming out today.
You have to look outside the box a little.
Dont support mainstream radio "worthy" musics.
