No problem, he hasn't tried to get ahold of me in a while. I did receive mail with other people's names on it. Detective told me its other peoples stimulus. He picked up the mail today.

But they are closing the case, he'll still help if things happen, and they ill will investigate but the rest doesn't involve me anymore so thats nice

They said im at risk of them doing more with my identity and info so they have me doing things to secure it and hopefully prevent it so thats good

Yes. He blew me up all day on other phone numbers
He also told me im being a little *****bitch.

I couldn't handle him blowing up my phone cause the anxiety so I had my phone number changed which is when be started emailing me and I didn't know he had my email. I can't delete my email but I changed all security information and he is using different names on each email. I havent deleted anything but I block him and don't reply. Then I send a screen shot of the new account and name to the officer on my case cause I figure thr more accounts im able to show him that are him the better chance they will be to find and or stop him. I feel nervous. He originally didn't know too much which made me feel less dumb but he called a detective who specializes in this I guess and at first he told me hes the one doing wrong not me but they think hes gonna burn me if I dont get it controlled. But then he called back a few hours later and said so. Turns out you may be in trouble and you may have to owe the money or soemthing

Thats assuming he stole or did fake money

I just got a reply and he told me I did the right thing changing my number and his supervisor has forwarded my case to the investigation division so that made me nervous

I haven't reply to him since I told him I needed to go to bed after he told me he's a gift from God and I need to think of him as a blessing

I won't reply especially cause I can't handle it but.. I do suddenly feel better knowing police are doing rounds by my house. Even though its on internet. Cause if I ignore him and continue to block and close my accounts the only way to get to me will be to come to me. I know logically that probably won't happen but. What if is does ya know. The cop is being super nice and he definitely wants to help. He's called me 4 times each time because he did more research or spoke with someone more experienced to keep me in the loop

Its overwhelming because I need a break from it emotionally. I need to self sooth all day and not have this happening so I dont fully deplete ny ability to cope and try something else. But when he's blowing me up. Its kind of a relief to hear from the cops because the more he won't leave me alone the more intrested in him they become so. They did tell me. I may end up financially and legally responsible. Not because he would lay charges but because he used my identity for possible crime and they won't be able to charge him cause usually there guys are overseas. But he has perfect English and grammer so think hes in the USA.
They said if they can get him though and he won't stop they will wreck his world. The cop told me. If this guy did end up to be a true person. The only thing he can do to me is take me fly to my state and take me to civil court and there's so much here that's sketchy and justified and his Harrison and threats to me will not let him win. So thats why I didn't panic when he said to me in going to end going to jail for messing with him.i think even. I think there's enough evidence to show that even if it turns out hes not a scammer, I didnt do anything wrong for assuming so and doing as the police instructed. He never gave me away to.send it back what funds I had left of his expect for bit coin codes which the cop agreed I shouldn't do and if he blows his one chance to simply not
So im not and I've been giving away chunks the money. I have to.clsoe all my accounts so i don't know where to put the money so I've simply been giving it away to charities. Like I said if he's genuinely owed that money, and the judge tells me I gotta pay him. Whatever payment plans it is. If he's not though, I can't sit well with myself spending it on me and I dont want it in my accounts. If im legally responsible for it now, and im on the line potentially criminally. He's lying to you to try to get you to "fall in line" for him. Don't pay him any more attention. He's not as powerful as he says he is- he's just trying to make you scared.

You told him exactly what you were going to do. Make sure you DO NOT delete any messages though. Keep them all so that the police can review them.

It's okay. Everything will be alright. Sucks that you got caught up with this crazy guy, but he doesn't actually have the power to do anything. His words are all that he's got, and those only do as much damage as you let them. You are the one with the power in this situation. All you have to do is stop responding to him and then suddenly he's stuck. Keep doing what you're doing, keep communicating with the police. You can tell them he's starting to scare/overwhelm/threaten you. It's okay to communicate this to them. They will be able to step in and protect you.

What if. When you shouted someone it really shouted the message at them with such amazing force it blows there hair and face skin. Then if when they whisper you gonna put the phone to your ear cause you might not hear it.

Basically somebody made a bot kind of like HelpBot that looks around any forum type web sites (like ours) and they try to leave fake replies with a link to a sketchy site that they try to scam you on. I don’t know who/why people do that. 🤷‍♂️

And nope- if you put a \ in front of one of the [ characters, it won't "show" the whisper, but it hides the slash.
So you'd type something like this:

[whisper]Test\[/whisper]

I kinda thought the / in the whisper was to prevent you from whispering while showing us how in the post.

When you do the whispers, it's all lowercase, and the end one needs to have a / in it.

It just hasn't been a priority because most of the time comments don't need deleting and nobody has said they really wanted to be able to do that.

But yeah- that, and editing/deleting shouts has been requested a couple times now.

There is already a way for mods to delete rather than close. 😄

Another option I was thinking about is letting users close, but not reopen. They would have to shout a mod and have them reopen it instead.

Well you're supposed to be able to close your own posts, obviously. But sometimes you might want to reopen them, right?
But if a mod closes your post, then it has to stay closed and you're not allowed to reopen it. (Assuming the mod closed it for a good reason) So determining that type of stuff is a little funky. But maybe I'm just overthinking it. 😉
