Anyone have wisdom to share on home buying?

All great advice! I appreciate everything I can get, buying a home certainly is intimidating!

OH MY GOSH, you guys. I found a post I made about my husband on the old site! haha I didn't even know I did that.

It says "I met him while I was on my mission. He was also a missionary and very obviously developed feelings for me. I like him as a friend, but I don't think I'm actually interested in him, but I continue to flirt and I think it's just because I really like the attention. I miss talking to him when we haven't talked for a couple of days, though, so it really is confusing to me because I'm interested enough that I don't feel guilty flirting with him, but I don't think I can picture us together. Plus he lives on the other side of the US from me."

lol and then 3 years later we started dating

Valuable information from someone in the same market!

Homie used to work downstairs from me and came to talk to us about it! I'm honestly fairly wary about using it for my very first home, though, since I don't trust that I know everything I need to without an agent. I've had friends use it, though.

As far as shopping goes, I've been looking at Trulia and Zillow religiously for over a year to assist me in day-dreaming haha but the good news is I think I'm fairly realistic because of it. I also know relatively my price range, but I just keep getting raises, darnit! lol

That's a good breakdown of the main 3 elements to look at. It totally rings true to me

Also I'm not a teenager anymore so I don't have as any topics to ask questions about haha ;)

Personally I just suck at being on an actual computer, anymore. Smart phones are changing the world, man haha

I guess I should've assumed you were in Utah if you know Cait! Haha

I think she and I worked well together because we were similar ages and had similar concerns. Hope all is well, I know she had some real struggles back then

I'm okay with snow not taking over my whole life haha I lived in Colorado Springs until I was a preteen so at least I saw some good snows there!

It's fun when you're a kid and I still love it like a kid now that I have it back, but I bet it'd be harder to love if I had to shovel and drive in that much snow!

Oh dear, Ralph! I work in the Trust and safety department of my company, so I'd be the one to kick you off of that website! Of course, the people I work with meet in person so it's different. Your logic about starvation makes sense but I'm not surprised it led to time outs haha

I never imagined I'd use this website on a phone one day!

Rockster, you're in Utah too?? I've lived here for 3 years now so I've seen some snow haha The trees are blooming now so I'm a happy camper!

Oh gosh, Ralph, I don't even want to know what I talked about in that old post. My entire life was boy drama until I found the right guy haha ugh
