Yep! I had actually planned on sending it out this past weekend but never had time. :(

I think it's best to send it during the weekend so that we catch people when they've got time to give it a look around. Will probably send it out this Friday. 😊

It must be just me then luv.
The very first time I used the original site I read some of the posts before I decided to air my concerns.

I hope so.
I'm just thinking about how hard you've worked to build this site. I'm hoping for more "new comers" as well as older members to register again. 😁

Newcomers don't normally go read through every existing post before posting themselves. In fact, usually they don't even read ANY posts until they've made their first post.

So there is nothing to prevent them from trusting. (Honestly, there is nothing to cause them to trust us either.) For many newcomers, it's not about trust. It's about a place to vent/rant/seek help, usually anonymously.

Yes, there are times when things get a little escalated and go beyond the realm of our little site- but in those cases, it goes beyond us anyway.

I don't think that situation will harm the site at all, but that's just my take, personally.

I didn't mean "trouble" as such. I mean in case any newcomers will be afraid to confide in this helpsite due to trust.

Why do you think the site is in trouble?

That was a pretty common occurrence back in the day. It happened many many times on the old site- it’s not something that’s avoidable on a site like this.

Hi Rockster.
I really hope I'm wrong but I think whoever reported, Nevermind might have got this help site into trouble.

I know we all have each others best interests at heart,however I'm shocked at reading what has happened and more to the point how it will impact this help site in the future.

Well I haven't a scooby when it comes to tech stuff as well you know 😉

A lot has changed.Some of it pretty bad so I don't like to talk about it in an open forum,but let's just say I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
However, it's not all bad I have found love again which was totally unexpected but that's another story.
I might just drop you a line some time if that's ok.

Yeah I know what sprained ankle feels like it hurts like hell.
I also made the mistake of walking on it when I was told to rest it which made things worse so I sympathise with ya.
And the last part. Omg ouch!! That makes me wince just thinking about it.
Sounds like it luv. It sounds like it needs to be cleaned out . I imagine it being calcified.

It wasn't one thing. I sprained it when I first started FreeRunning and it didn't heal properly. Then later on I sprained it again and again. Oddly enough- I never sprained it doing anything "big" it was always something silly- one time I sprained it by stepping wrong on my way into math class. And each time it would swell up like mad and go all purple and nasty.

The last time I was jumping straight up and down on a trampoline, landed funny. Somehow (luckily) my ankle actually dislocated, and my heel rolled up and hit the side of my calf. Super scary, but it didn't "break" but since then, it's basically been permanently swollen. Lots of scar tissue that probably needs to be surgically removed before it will heal properly.

I really really miss it. It was a huge part of me and it was my outlet to get everything out.

One day I'll be back. 😉

Sort of! I try, but I've ruined my ankle, so it's difficult for me walk on it, never mind jump off of stuff. 😄

So pretty much I'm limited to trampolines at the moment until I can get to a Dr that can actually fix my ankle. (I've seen a couple that don't think they'll be able to fix it.)

Hi Evansent! Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner.
I’m actually working on all of the mod tools now, including the ones that allow us to remove a post. We can close it/mark as adult for now, then I can come back and remove it when we get the mod tools up. Would that be sufficient?
