Hey all!

I was wondering what it means when a guy ask if I have brought a man home to my parents? Is this a good sign or bad sign? Is he using me?

Guys are pretty much straight shooters. If he asked if you had the opportunity to bring a previous boyfriend home to meet your parents. It's a simple yes or no question. He does not get a pass to ask follow up questions. It could be one or 9-10 boys church choirs. That's none of his business.

Thank you for the replies. My heart sank when he said it because it was unexpected. He even mentioned that he wants to protect me and asked if I had a boyfriend and when I said no. He went oh you're lying because he asked someone and they said you have a bf. He couldn't tell me the name and he said I asked them because I wanted to pursue you.

.
How do I respond

Wow.
First he wants to protect you than he calls you a liar.
Move on unless you want more psycho games.

Unless you just don't like this guy, I don't think everything is so grim.

The question (in my opinion) is; Is this a guy you could like?

I agree with Aeolian that he wants you for himself but when he said you were lying about having a boyfriend he was only trying to reassure himself.
