A question to musicians.can you mix a minor mode with a major mode if the key is major while improvising?

Can you name a rocker who incorporates this? I am talking Moses not pentatonics. I do know Eric Clayton mixes major and minor pentatonics all the time to give his blues progression s. I am looking for an example of effectively mixing major and minor mode s for lead solid? Thank you

I'm going to take a chance and say yes. Music is not my strong point but as Grace Slick said making an original song has become impossible because it's all been done.
Which leads me to say there are artists which specialize in minor key specifically.
I do not know the names of the people you speak of but I will offer what I know (which may not be much)
I hate Nirvana but they do a lot of in-and-out when it comes to minor chord/key.
Also Bjork.
Here's some stuff these guys did other than they're #1

Some Crosby, Stills & Nash perhaps.

I don't think I can give you an answer specifically regarding Blues but (more or less) for minor key styles that you can discover and incorporate.

Jimi Hendrix pushed the envelope in a lot of ways too - explore his not-so-popular stuff.

Explore Molly Hatchet.
And Sade' seemed to progress in minor key.

Tears for Fears.

I'll get back with you.

Church choirs do it all the time. Especially those led by a pipe organ and wear those pleated robes.
