I am going to start with a post fraught with issues.....

Thank you all for the advice; I have been looking at all of the replies and thinking through what I'm going to do.

I did talk to my son last night. I said, "Did you realize that your sister has lost 25-30 pounds in a month?" We talked for a long time. He truly is concerned for his sister and worries about her. It was just a moment of bad judgment on his part.

Next, I will talk to my daughter a bit more. She IS a ballerina (has been taking ballet for 6 years) and has dreams of working as a dancer. Most "professional" dancers have a certain body type. Maybe she's trying to attain that. I will def talk to her about it.

Thank you so much for all your replies

I told everyone from the old Help that I have on my FB friends list. I got some great responses :)

Are you friends with jjlove? I thought you were...back in the day

I hope everyone makes their way back!

I think that a lot of the people who I used to chat with on the old help have moved on and have other things going on in their lives. Some are my friends on fb and have had some real life issues that have made them change a bit from who they were 10 years ago. Some are "over" help. Some used it for the help they needed at the time, and are in a different place now. But I hope to see lots of the old faces and lots of the new faces.....

Weird to think we were just kids the first time around. But now weโ€™re experienced in life and can offer those experiences to the kids that are struggling now. :)

I wasn't just a kid. I was a mom with toddlers, and this site offered me so much help in understanding them as they grew up and helped me get inside the heads and what was going on with kids at the time so that I could use it to help my own kids grow.

And, I have had lots of life experiences, so it seemed like I was able to give the advice, too, back in the day.

I also used the site because for about 3 years, my marriage was REALLY on the rocks.

So, now I'm more like a grandma ;)

Very happy to have been a part in the resurrection, but the biggest part is building back a community like we had before- and for that part, I need everybody else's help. This site is just a bunch of code sitting on some server in Ohio somewhere. What made Help.com such an amazing place was the people that were there and the people that helped each other out.

It makes me so happy to see that even some of the users that were around 10 years are still here and willing to be a part of it. I can't wait to see where we go. :)

Three cheers. You've done a great job. Maybe donations could be arranged(?)
