You can watch online of course but Masterclass app is also available on Roku. And I prefer to watch from my Laz-y-Boy. When you sign up they will ask for a valid charge card but it will only use it after your free year ends so no worries. I just need your email address and a middle initial if it appears on your credit card. You will receive an email invite from them with instructions how to sign up.

I just signed up for a year and during their promotion I have a free gift year to give to someone else. You were the first person I thought about. If you want it it's yours. My second choice would be Sherlock.

Based on the quick web search it is an interesting idea, and something that I could possibly use. But at the same time, from what I'm reading, there is little value to the classes after watching them the first time. And they don't typically cover the technical skills of the craft they are instructing about.

In Canada the cost is $240 and that is certainly more than I would want to pay for something that I am unsure of how much use I would get from it.

It's similar to YouTube but they have little 12-15 minute classes taught by those that are the best in the business. Like Judy Blume and Aaron Sorkin. Tons of classes in all sorts of areas in writing and technology and science. No limit to the number of classes you can take, but it is subscription based. $179.99 for 1 year. Look online to see if it might be something you would be interested in.

We are able to get it... My dad has a smart TV that has Roku. I just stick to Netflix and Disney plus.
