I have been trying harder to come on here and do so at least a few times a week. Iโ€™ve seen an increase in activity on the site, which is nice :) I meant to respond to your shout yesterday, but I saw it at work and the day just became entirely too hectic for my liking.

That is fantastic! Iโ€™ve been searching for jobs as well, so the fact that you obtained a position, albeit short term, is a great accomplishment! And now you have an in!

P take a break from this site for various reasons. My reason, honestly, was depression. But I have been feeling a bit better lately. Maybe you can reach out to your friend by other means like email or social media?

Glad you've managed to spare a moment or two to the site on occasion, since our last exchange. There's always more work for those who will do it, but the routine can be grinding.
Relatively speaking, I'd say better than last year in terms of the future's uncertainty. After 4 months of jobseeking rejections received an opportunity to prove myself and succeeded, though limited it to 3 months; solidified the sort of impression I desired in the cv, and equally as important was getting to know how some of the practitioners in the field operate and communicate. Have a friend from here but she's been mostly quiet for a while; still, better than none as before.

Well, black ice can be fairly hazardous for travel without proper prior preparation.

You did drop one of them by now though, right? Even two full time jobs constitute one more than I can fathom handling, to be honest. Suppose the most important thing is to keep the stress level from building up.

Not too much snow here, although everyone is so over dramatic that one inch can shut the city down haha. Just a lot of bills all due at once and stress from work - the usual ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yeah - he had a meeting with all of his techs and myself. He went down a list of all of the things weโ€™re doing wrong and gave us an ultimatum- I told him that I understood and could not meet his expectations. He was very insistent that all of this time, he had been trying to help me and hubby out financially. I told him that I appreciated it but it was actually costing me money at this point and I couldnโ€™t dedicate the time he needed me to. He was unhappy but accepted it.

Then he texted me a bunch of things to do even thought he knows Iโ€™m going to be super busy today ๐Ÿ˜‘ but I said I would look into it and didnโ€™t give him a timeframe. Heโ€™s not going to be happy with me for awhile, but at least now I have some peace of mind. At the end of the month, though, we are really cutting ties in a business sense and he will see that it was really me doing him a favor and not the other way around. Or maybe he wonโ€™t, who knows lol.

All I know is that me saying I was incapable and placing the blame on myself placated him and I avoided a fight.
