Hey- you know what Parkour is, so you've got "hip" points there! 😉 (That was absolutely TERRIBLY awful. I'm sorry for such horrific puns...)

I don't listen to the music of my generation, I've always preferred good old rock 'n' roll- although that has absolutely nothing to do with my username. 😂 I also have gotten too "old" for most of the stuff I used to do- so my picture is mostly a memory of what I could once do! It aged my bones pretty quickly. 😅

It's nice to meet you as well! I seem to remember a JJ on the old site, though we may not have been acquainted. Were you from the original?

My honey is working out of town these days, and only makes it home eow. I am sick to death of Facebook and Twitter, but thought some online human interaction could be good for me now and then. I suffered a TBI 2 years ago, and though I've learned to do many things again, I'm still working on communication.

And no, it wasn't from doing parkour! ...lol... I had several strokes, and one was pretty significant to the back of my head. It takes a long time for a brain to heal, and even then, I'm beginning to think this might be as good as it gets. :-/

Both.

Many MANY of the old users were lost in the initial transition and even more in the followups from that.

We haven't been able to attain many "natural" users yet because we're not high enough on Google's SEO rankings (which increase with "natural" traffic), the name/domain isn't as good as it used to be, and there are a lot more forum-type sites that people visit instead, so there isn't as much of a niche anymore.

Then participation is low because there aren't a lot of new users, so not a lot of posts needing help, so not a lot of means for activity, so people show up less and less. 🤷‍♂️

But we occasionally get new people trickling in, and very occasionally that is a natural/new user. 😁
