Canah you use derogatory words to describe people out of hate if it's regardingprobly your own community?¬ ¬ For example, if a gay man hates another gay man, and he calls him the 'f' word(the one that actually is defined in the dictionary as a bundle of sticks), is that homophobic or biased hate speech? Or just regular hate speech that would fall under regular freedom of speech on this site?¬ ¬ I am a gay man and I want to discuss some issues I've run into with other gay men who I believe would fall under this category. As a gay man myself I would never use such language to describe anyone from our community except these two men. Because they deserve it. And if it's not somethinga that'sgood goingidea to get me in trouble, I'd love to share this crooked and truly cruel tale with you all.¬ ¬ And see what you thinkgenerally. I think that if you can just as easily sub the word out with a different expression, why use the slur? If someone is being a jerk, just call them a jerk, don't call them whatever bad word you're afraid will get you in trouble.

i think it may be better to use **** to replace swear words.

but I dont think using terms like that would be wanted by others on the receiving end. could be easily misunderstood or upset people, especially if they themselves have been called that term and been hurt by it in the past and if they dont know you are gay.

maybe try a different curse word?
