................ The boomers were the counter culture who fought for the enviornment.
Lets not turn this into a generational war.
In fact the boomers were the most active activists of any generation.
Instead of hating on each other cant we ban together to stop the corporations who are trashing our planet.
We are all in this together and all generations need to get involved right now to stop these corporations from destroying all our future.

The problem is....
The boomers got tired of living in their goddamm van down by the river.
They cut their hair, wrote a resume, filled out an application and eventually became some or most of the top leaders of those corporations that you hate so much.
To me, people's priorities say everything about themselves and what they invest their time and energy into.
Some of the most useless people are environmentalists. They care for nature more than they do for their fellow man.
So, instead of complaining, start a business and actually get your a$$ to real work. Plant a tree, grow some grass and start a recycle base. Sell back to the corporations the very products they need, like plastic.
Shred those milk cartons and plastic bottles. Send them through a chemical bath then rinse them clean. Shred them into powder and sell. Make some *******fucking money and stop being a bump on the log.
Do you know how much paper products still exists? How many things can simply be burnt? Start a power plant and supply electricity to an ever expanding grid.
You're not going to change anything from your position as a modern day version of a hippy.
You really missed the point of this post.
Rather than spell it out Ill just roll my eyes.

Yes, dodging the truth saves anyone of you from having to face it. Keep beating the drum.
I'm not dodging anything. You're the chicken little that thinks the sky is falling and you believe everybody else is responsible ACCEPT you! Go outside and look up. Then go back inside and look in the mirror. Now what do you tell that reflection about what you just witnessed.

Hmmm. What do I tell that reflection? The sky looked fine to me - I'm not the one who made the post, crying about the environment and the "evil" corporations....
Therefore, everything you just said to me is actually impossible to say.
Surly you can do better?
Let me help you.

Do I? Do I really think everyone else is responsible EXCEPT me? It seems to me the original poster is drowning their personal accountability in the collective horde. It seems there's so much that OTHER PEOPLE must do AND do NOW.

I gave one of the best living examples of personal accountability in my original reply.

The nature of the reply above entails 100% personal accountability. You see, I don't do these things because I'm not the one who believes the sky is falling....
Does the truth leave a bad taste in your mouth?
I'm not going to suggest that you look up into the sky and talk to your reflection but I will suggest you re-read my reply with better consideration.
What is a boomer?
I don't fully understand what this is about

The Depression era of the early 20th century was caused by economic recession...
People were dirt poor.
Sadly, it was discovered that war was a means for economic growth. Many men and women enlisted on top of being drafted.
Here came World War One.
By the time World War Two began, the veterans of WW1 started comming home.
They had money to spend. New houses and cars. They had nice household appliances for the first time in history. They had flowers to plant and lawns to mow.
Untold numbers of babies were born to that generation. These babies did not experience life as their parents did. These babies would never see an outhouse. Or wash in a creak, river, lake or pond. These babies were given the spoil of cream and honey -
- and they turned their back on their parents, their moral compass and family values.
These were called, "The Baby Boomers." Their generation was born between 1935 to about 1955 (or so).
Baby boomers (also known as boomers) are the demographic cohort following the Silent Generation and preceding Generation X. The Baby Boom generation is most often defined as those individuals born between 1946 and 1964.
In Western Europe and North America, boomers are widely associated with privilege, as many grew up during a period of increasing affluence due in part to widespread post-war government subsidies in housing and education. As a group, baby boomers were wealthier, more active and more physically fit than any preceding generation and were the first to grow up genuinely expecting the world to improve with time. They were also the generation that reached peak levels of income in the workplace and could, therefore, enjoy the benefits of abundant food, clothing, retirement programs, and even "midlife-crisis" products. However, this generation also has been criticized often for its increases in consumerism which others saw as excessive.
The boomers have tended to think of themselves as a special generation, very different from preceding and subsequent generations. In the 1960s and 1970s, as a relatively large number of young people entered their late teens—the oldest turned 18 in 1964—they, and those around them, created a very specific rhetoric around their cohort and the changes brought about by their size in numbers. This rhetoric had an important impact in the self-perceptions of the boomers, as well as their tendency to define the world in terms of generations, which was a relatively new phenomenon. The baby boom has been described variously as a "shockwave" and as "the pig in the python".

"and they turned their back on their parents, their moral compass and family values."
How did they turn their backs? What did they do?
Thank you for explaining
"Sadly, it was discovered that war was a means for economic growth."
I think this is probably what all wars are about. Its so wrong.

In slang terms, the Baby Boomer generation is also known as the "Me" generation.
They are generally the most spoiled of all generations and the decadent mentality which flowed from them put all generations ahead of them in debt.
I'll explain more a bit later.
