I'm using one of those blackhead removing nose strips right now.

And god my nose has never been itchier.

Actually - those blackhead removing nose strips aren't good for you to use. They open up your pores when they yank out the gunk and then you've got open pores to be filled in with dirt. It just becomes a cycle of strip/damage/strip/damage...

If you want to get rid of blackheads, gently exfoliate twice a week! Cetaphil is always a great affordable brand at $8.

My sister bought me a fantastic one for my birthday but it's pricey (hence her buying it for me because I don't have beaucoup bucks. It was also on a massive sale when she got it for $25 as opposed to the ridiculous $85 it normally costs)

Yeah, i don't think I'm gonna use it again. I just was curious to see what would come up.

It didn't actually remove any blackheads...I did have some really tiny super short noise hairs ON my nose though (I'm real hairy in general) and it ripped those out, so I consider that a win.

My nose tends to be oilier than the rest of my skin so I should look into that stuff you linked to.

I have dry, sensitive skin so I have to be super careful with what I use but as a teen I had really oily skin.

BTW everyone has tiny super short nose hairs on their nose. It's not weird :)

Here's what you should do!

1. Wash your face with a super gentle cleanser.
2. Use toner with a cotton ball.
3. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week.
4. Moisturise

Use products like cetaphil that are fragrance free. I like Thayer's toner.

And if you've got some $ to spend on higher quality stuff, let me know and I'll send recommendations your way.

PROBABLY what i'm gonna do is say to myself "those are some nice tips."

And then just not do anything about it.

But thanks.

It was kinda satisfying slowly peeling off the strip after.

And then looking at the strip, right? Both satisfying and gross LOL
