Has anyone watched the new Twilight Zone?

I did and I have to say I was disappointed. But open to other opinions on it.

Would this be another movie or TV series?

It's a series. CBS all access. First season is ten episodes long and they were renewed for a second season.

Seems I'm only familiar with the old series and the 80's movie with Dan Akyroid.

If I'm not mistaken, it seems they brought back the series maybe 25 years ago (or so). I do remember a watching a few episodes when I could get it but I was usually too busy for TV back then.

I don't know if the middle-aged Twilite Zones are syndicated or not but the run seemed short lived.

If these are truly new episodes, I can't say as I know anything about them.

I watched more out of curiosity than anything else. The acting was pretty good but a little higher budget might provide some needed help in the writing department.

I really don't get a few of the episodes. Like i don't really understand what happened at the end of A. Travler. And the last ep made me plain mad.

I agree the acting is good. And shocked at how bad the writing is. A couple of the eps were really ok, though none were stellar.

Rewatched most of the first season of the original series. Its so amazing in comparison.

Rod Serling's mind and watchful eye are certainly missed. They should not have attempted to get his magic back.
There is another series on Amazon you may like better. "Tales from the Loop" staring Daniel Zolghadri and Jonathan Price. Great actors themselves.
