Why don't I like Snapchat?

I've avoided it like the plague ever since I even heard about it. It repels me.

Do you like Snapchat? I can't stay in the app enough to even figure out the ui. It's not that it's new to me. I can dig new things. I just never got a good feeling about it. Like it's evil or something.

Do you like it? Do you use it? Why have I always hated it?

Isn't the controversial thing about it is that it lulls you into a false sense of security that whateveryou post will disappear but people can screencap things?

I never used it, I don't know.

I think i understand and agree with lanos point here.

I think it encourages some people to share things they perhaps wouldnt otherwise share if they knew the pictures of themselves on the receiving end could be saved and shared.

And that can lead into trouble. People can take screenshots.

Its like being led into temptations. But one never truely knows if someone else might be able to access those photos or ahort video clips.

People can hack into computers and watch what youre doing if they have the right technology and know how to do it. Those sorts of people could do it secretly.

~~

Oops just realised lano already mentioned screenshots

snapchat while silly and humorous lulls you into a carnival of twisted mirrors.

I think its a way of getting people to volunteer giving you a picture of themselves to be easily used for development of facial recognition devices.

And i think it has been made in such a way that its intentions have been disguised in the name of fun.

I mean yeah im just speculating here but its my feelings.

This is more along the lines of what I'm worried bout I think. Anyone know if this sort of thing is actually happening? I'd hate to be cataloged somehow and not even know it.

I think its happening even without it. People share their pictures all the time. Especially on those silly games that predict how u will at a certain age
