Gone Easily

My mind is drunk
Empty of feeling
Words and interpretations I don't understand
Gestures and thoughts relinquished like grains of sand
Spinning round and about
Left and tossed, as the alcohols begin to shout
Purest of pure, with a promised cure upon the label
So many empty glasses litter the otherwise blank table
All as it should be,
Just these demons. . and me

My mind on fire!
As quickly as it ignites, the flames make it all easily gone

Folds

Pictures folded and faded
Glanced at from time to time
Then Saved for later
I can't think

My mind is foggy like a warm winter night
The clam is enveloping every aspect of my being
There clearly is too much alcohol swimming through my veins
I welcome it's slow erasing of the pains and nuances in my brain

Not that "clearly" gives any bit of insight for the goings on
Still, in this stillness
I ponder, folded . . pictures and lies
