Original version of a very old poem .

.

Running

This bleeding is my hope
I find it hard to cope
Dripping, running on this page
I have no more courage, no more rage

If you ask me why
I will but lie
Still, running is the rhyme
As absence is the crime

So I'm dripping away this life
Longing to end this strife
I surrender everything
As such running no longer stings

I once had an answer
To whatever you asked
But now it doesn't matter
And every day is a task

So this bleeding is my hope
For I don't care to cope
As I seep upon this page
I'm running out of courage, running out of rage…

I read this and literally cried. I don’t normally feel anything when I read poetry, but @Eddieee , this is a good one.
