Man.

Wow...I'm sort of jealous of you all who have lived in so many different places! I've visited a few, but have lived my whole life in one state.

Hawaii is GORGEOUS. You will love it :)

I just had a nightmare that I was washing the dishes but they wouldnโ€™t get clean.

That's it, then.....

Iโ€™ve been nonstop working and Iโ€™m exhausted. But I do feel like life is out of control right now too.

It's the WORST to have to "still do the dishes" after a long and tiring day. Your life has been long and tiring lately (it seems), and you just wanna finish the dishes and crash in bed. But you can't because they need to keep being cleaned.

It's a parallel of a long, hard day and still having more to do

And

A busy, overwhelming life that you feel like will never ease up

But it will. Life has a funny way of giving us busy times and quiet times

Principles of Adult Behavior

I love it!

I might look for a printed copy to hang up

Or maybe I'll just type it in fancy font on cardstock on my compter, frame it, and hang it

Living at home question.

Stick to your guns.
The fact you were working to pay for college needs no explanation and the fact your ex did nothing for you is proof that you're sailing your own ship.

^^^ Agree.

And, I HOPE my kids live at home AT LEAST through college.

We told them that if they live at home through college, we will support them. They may need to get loans, grants, scholarships....but will never have to buy food, cook a meal, go to a laundromat, or buy toilet paper living in our house.

Once graduated, they can live at home with one stipulation:100% of their primary job paycheck goes in the bank. They can work a second, PT job for spending money...totally doable in your 20's.

As for how "the world" looks at millenials living at home... who gives a crap? I worked and put myself through college, paid rent and had a car. You CAN'T DO THAT ANYMORE. College costs are astronomical, housing costs are through the roof, and wages are pretty stagnant. People understand that, if they look past their own noses long enough and study the economical trends.
Young people today HAVE to live at home to save up a ton of money to be ABLE to move out

I've dreamed I'm looking for a toilet before and woken up to an urgent need to pee. Sometimes I dream I've found the toilet....

A friend of mine, a long time ago, dreamed about being bitten on his leg. Woke up to find that yes, indeed, he'd been bitten.. by a brown recluse spider. The venom ended up rotting a fair sized pit in his leg which, months later, remained open and oozing. Goes to show that dreams.. uhhh.. yeah. I'm sure I was goin' somewhere with this, just give me a bit.

Scary story! And brown recluse stories always send shivers up my spine

I am curious if any of you guys who aren't American follow USA politics, and if you like our president?

And how did you feel about Obama or Hillary Clinton or any of the other recent presidents or presidential candidates? Do the people in the UK view us as warmongers or peacekeepers?
This. This is what I have also always heard and always wondered too
I've always heard everyone else hates Americans as being fat, lazy, stupid, and obnoxious... is it just our media telling us that or is it true? I know the press in the USA hates Trump but all our media outlets are in NYC or LA and those are both very liberal areas. Everyone not in a huge city seems to have voted for Trump, and everyone in a megalopolis voted against him.
