If so why? and if not why not?

And how did you feel about Obama or Hillary Clinton or any of the other recent presidents or presidential candidates? Do the people in the UK view us as warmongers or peacekeepers?

I've always heard everyone else hates Americans as being fat, lazy, stupid, and obnoxious... is it just our media telling us that or is it true? I know the press in the USA hates Trump but all our media outlets are in NYC or LA and those are both very liberal areas. Everyone not in a huge city seems to have voted for Trump, and everyone in a megalopolis voted against him.

Help me with:

I need help.

I was born and raised in Lebanon (tiny country in the middle east), everybody there follows USA politics because it directly affects them. If USA decides to invade a country or support Israel with the settlement and what not...

Even tho I think Trump is an self absorbed, idiot, and a russian puppet. I do agree that the media is not honest. The media focuses and blurs whatever suits it or the message it thinks is "right". I think both CNN and Fox news are not doing their job properly. News is suppose to be objective.

I don't think people realize how much Trump is damaging the USA, he is single handedly obliterating the american empire and grip it had on the world. People don't seem to realize that damaging the FBI for example is sooooo bad. Citizen starts to loose confidence in their government and its institution etc...
For me, the amount of damage he is doing is unheard of.

This is a form KGB agent video, i find it very interesting.

Living right next to the USA (Canada, I can't help being aware of the massive clusterfuck going on across the border. It isn't just Trump, awful as he is, but basically the entire Republican party tearing up the USA. Sad thing is, too many in the populace are complicit with the GOP and refuse to see how their social infrastructure is being rather rapidly eroded away. Unfortunately, living so close, the USA's 'problems' can all too easily become ours. When (I'd like to say 'if' but..) they crash 'n burn I'd hate to have them drag us down with 'em, but not very optimistic.

I'm in the UK, I follow both UK and USA politics.

The general British opinion is that Donald Trump is just ridiculous. Putting aside the absolute idiot statements he comes out with regarding the UK (of which he does no research whatsoever about). If we didn't need a trade deal so bad the PM would probably just laugh in his face.

He's language is most telling for me though, he's just so simple, and childish, egotistical, and I think the only thing he gets out of being president (besides the ego trip) is it will earn his business, and his friends business's a hell of a lot of money.

i follow politics kinda. if it comes up on my news app ill read it. i had a love for obama you guys did good there in my opinion! better than any PM we've had in a long while anyway i would say.

Trump...good god why!? No...actually i understand why. in the same way that UKIP gained support here one year and rocked the boat. people want change, they dont know what will bring change, ohhh look this person seems different and has new ideas and approaches they might bring the change! oh god no they havent brought the change how we wanted it, not that we really know what change we want in the first place. lets go back where its safe and we know whats going on.

this can be seen over and over in politics. with every new strong generation of voters and as the other generation gets sick of the same old stuff going wrong theres a swing. and itll swing back and forth etc.

HOWEVER in the case of Trump, should Alan Sugar (the equivilent in the UK, business mogul, massive empire, hosted the apprentice) attempt to be our PM he would get laughed out. he has no base in politics, and a country is not just a business. yes to a point it is but its alot more intricate and complicated than that. none of us really know just how difficult it is to be in that position. i wouldnt want to be PM so fair play to anyone willing to take the risk of being hates, blamed for things that they may not have caused etc etc.

Also he just seems overly biggoted and in general a terrible person who needs to accept hes balding and isnt naturally orange. and i agree with nix, he is childish in his speeches. its simple words for simple people to understand and that makes them feel important.

but of course we will see it through a tint of our media, i dont know what its really like for you all living in the world of Trump. My boss thinks hes great because he boosted your economy....i would argue theres more important things and from what ive read and heard through my links with the LGBT+ community hes not doing minorities such as them and ethnic ones any favours. which once you add them all together is a significant proportion of the population i would imagine, it would be here in the UK.

please do correct me if any of this is wrong, its just my opinion formed from what ive read, heard and watched on tv. but my biggest peeve about him? HIS VOICE. i cant stand it, its sleezy and makes my skin crawl

No-one in the UK believed Trump would win until he won. But we've been kinda busy with our own insane politics at the minute. In some ways we're just as bad.

I am English and am going to say what all English people know not to say around Americans.

I was absolutely delighted trump got in.

Since the UK is nothing but the 51st state and our prime minister's are nothing but your presidents lap dogs and so far up America's arse, after trump getting in, the next obvious step was for our politicians to follow suit and get with his ideas, like they have with all other American presidents.

It hasn't happened yet, but that's most likely due to all the well off yanks complaining about trump.
Our people copy the American people just the same as our government follows yours .

I am counting the days til we get someone with a set of balls, and ideas that aren't pre written and copied by every clone of every past leader.

I have a lot more faith in our future now trump is in, and I couldn't care less how many stories are publicised about him sleeping with ****porn stars, and don't give a ****shit if they're true or not.

We need trumps mini me to get in here and sort this ****shit out.

GO TRUMP

I felt like that about Trump in the beginning but now he's proving to be a child. His antics are juvenile and immature.
Yes I want our Politicians to have balls and be more like Trump but only if they are doing it to benefit our country.

I don't give a ****shit how much of a petulant child he wants to be.

I f'ing LOVED his comeback to jong-un's comment about having a finger on the button.
Why not say I have mine too, mine works and is bigger - amazing comment that should go down in history and be quoted over and over.
Tells others he isn't *******fucking around, you wanna play, I'll play too.

Ever see that scene from crocodile Dundee - that's not a knife, THIS IS A KNIFE!!

Shows the no nonsense, I'm not messing around, downright ' fuckoff-ness ' that is needed to be shown to everyone that threatens us.

Long may he continue.

It makes me want to start wearing a 10 gallon hat, cowboy boots, and singing the star spangled banner everywhere I go.

Unfortunately its how wars start. Do you really think Kim Jong-Un does't know that US have more nukes than he does? Its all an ego trip. Playing with the lives of millions of people who will suffer on both ends. Plus they sound like petulant children. Obama was dealing with the N Korea threat far better than Trump who is just antagonizing the situation for no good reason but to look tough for Americans.

If it's all gonna kick off, it's going to kick off.

Obama pandering to North Korea didn't solve anything.

Acting like a weak nation, giving in to everyone's demands, throwing away the greatness of your country doesn't solve anything, we've been trying that for years

The definition of insanity is to do the exact same thing over and over and expect a different result.

IMO Obama was a diplomat, trump is a bulldozer.

Obama never pandered to N.Korea. He built relationships with the Chinese to get N Korea in line. He acted like an adult and a leader, something trump lacks.

They're actors, they put on a show.

Until trump, it hasn't really mattered who was named as prime minister or president, it was all the exact same people behind the curtains pulling the strings, they were just the puppet up front.

Trump is something different, and since trying the same thing over and over hasn't worked, let's stop hating him for breaking the mould and try something different for a change

Well, considering the former administration ran it like welfare soup kitchen, running it like a business is probably a better option.

I was watching him today and he was talking about how Harley-Davidson was going bankrupt because other countries charged them like $5000 import tax and he was going to do the same thing to Japan to import a motorcycle and see how everyone liked it. He was sick and tired of America being Mr. Nice Guy and taking it up the butt from all the other countries. I had to stand up and cheer. He says what I want to hear, I wish he would do more of it.
