Lol!
Well....yes, still here - guilty as charged.

I finally had my lower kitchen caninets built along with some other related construction projects.
Even though it includes the kitchen sink, I still have no running water yet.
It's feast or famine around here so I'm forced to piece-meal the remaining projects when I can. The next project is the bathroom.
As my luck would have, I just may die on the commode on the day I get it working - haha!

I'm glad you came by -

Grew up Baptist. Tried to stick with Baptist for all of my adult life...sorta. Now, I don't think the denomination means all that much anymore

Will explain the edit later or on another site/forum/more private spot, if you got notification of that....

I've read your reply several times and I truly feel for you both grieved yet.....
.....a little happy to know that you're returning to the faith - hey....I've backslidden more than once in my life and went cold, but I could only go so far until I came back around.
I'm glad you made it.

I'm sorry to hear that your son has made a decision that he is going to regret for the rest of his life when it comes to this young lady you describe. The issue is extra tender especially if you (mother-of-the-son) loves her, yourself.
Ouch...
Thank you for the invite, it's comforting to know I have some fortification other than my own. Who knows, I may get an inkling to travel and visit.

I think what is happening, is that God is opening the eyes of those that believe and follow Him. As you said, we generally knew about the "basics" and Satan running the world, but now.....now it's time for the details.
The devil is in the details (or rabbit trails). And some of those trails are just outright portals to a different realm....

I don't know why the Whisper didn't show (maybe because I changed my Avatar data)?

No matter. I can ask you openly just because I can -

What do you think of people who entertain the idea that the earth may possibly be "flat?"

Hi Pepper, it's me BA1.

This Avatar is for you if you want it, just copy and download it to your desktop. From there you can reupload it to the Help site (or any other site for that matter.
It's not quite the way I had hoped it would be - I think I bit off more than my skill could handle - haha!

I'm doing okay so far- as I hope you and your family are doing okay. Thank you for caring enough to ask.
I think you're right about things becoming much worse. A part of me welcomes it only because of Christs Return.
As Jesus said, "Be of good cheer." Of course, it's easier said than done BUT the one thing that may help is to remember that YOU are among His favored children. I think you can put your faith in that.
It's good to see you here again - always a delight when you drop in.
Others think so too.
Until the next time.

Okay, so I did a basic study of Q-Anon and here is my opinion -

Q-Anon started out as a real person who made claims of his status and leaked out information. Wether or not his position is real, his info certainly lit a fire in the realm of conspiracy and conjecture.
"Conspiricy" and "conjecture" are normally not 'nice' words because they imply craziness but I use these words for the better and as tools because it IS based on deductive reasoning and few people actually possess those skills, abilities or inclinations to properly rationalize things.

So, I think Q-Anon took on a life of it's own shortly after (like the movie "V For Vendetta.")

In this case, a collective of people (like you and me) meet at websites and various social media and discuss the deeper issues.
Since there can be no solid ground to conclude upon, the best formulated guesd of a matter is the general conclusion.
It's like making sure that both sides of the coin agree with the edge - the info must harmonize.
What little info that does not harmonize is often not enough to stop further development of possibilities.

From what I can tell, you're certainly well informed and I think it's safe to say that we both share a common wavelength.
I understand your frustration and where/when words seem to fail because of the complexity of this Matrix.
I want to thank you for giving me your time - I feel both honored and blessed.
Further, you have gave me something to think about (not that I'm clueless but I know many of the things you spoke of in a different way. My chore - if it is that - is to understand the things as you have put them).
I'm not without oversight at times and sometimes I lose focus on issues and material (there's so much!)
The four reasons you listed for your beliefs - I could have not said them any better myself - coincidently they are my reasons for faith also (give or take a certain flavor or two).

Q talks about the future after all the "bad guys" are taken down as a utopia, but everyone has to sign a GESARA/NESARA contract to reach that utopia. To me, that signature is scary

There's been this "thing" going on for sometime regarding internet rituals - you may have heard about it, it's called "Blood over intent."
Honestly, I think it's a cult practice, so please be diligent when people present this ritual.
The "Q" as I understand (at this point) seems more to be a collective of hidden, or veiled, action going on behind the scenes. Like the undercurrent in a river or the ocean.
I'll look further into the matter about this - thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I'm both delighted and relieved to hear your children do have the faith. Good fruit comes from good trees - amen, dear lady and well done.

Yes, I left Alaska in Oct of 2018 and came to Texas. Gotta tell you....after living nearly a year homeless in my truck, it was no picnic.
But, bought 4 acres in Avinger, designed a small house (24' X 24') and had it built. Would have done it myself but my health is basically shot (respiratory issues).
It's mostly finished but, I don't have running water or plumbing yet - it sucks but I'm not unfimilar with situations like this - pray for miracle on my part please.
I have central heating and AC - electricity, a makeshift kitchen and a bed. At least it's not my truck - lol!
If you'd like my e-mail it's; allan_wilcox(at)hotmail(dot)com

Okay, dear Pepper, I'm going check on some things.

I'm not exactly familiar with who "Q" is? Maybe I'm missing something...?

And, yes, I do have a relationship with Christ and have read my Bible with habit since my youth - I am not ashamed to ever make it clear.
As Christians go, I believe that we are an on-going work in progress. That we're never really worthy or ready BUT only the intent of our heart is seen by our Lord and judged according to His desire.

Honestly, Pepper....I would question ANY pastor who would suggest to NOT read any of the books in the Bible - just my opinion.
And' I don't mean to over reach my opinion, but I DO hope you only read from standard King James version. There's nothing too complex about it's old style language.

I would like to wish you all my best when it comes to engraving the Lord into your children's hearts - if they don't know the Lord already, I hope they will soon.

Usually, when it comes to things about my flesh-and-blood reputation I would let my friends account on my behalf - but since only I'm here (at the risk of pulling up my bootstraps), I will say I know the Bible and many details both written and not.
If you ever have any questions about a particular matter, please feel free to ask.

I think you are both smart AND spirit filled - as I have read many of your Posts and replies down through the years, God bless you good woman!

Writing verses out on card stock for your children is a noble work, and as you said, Bibles in the near future may be a thing of the past.
Suggestion? Buy some extra Bibles and highlight those verses your writing on card stock. Not only would it be easier but the kids would also have the Bible?
Just a thought.
I'd like to thank you for remembering me and logging in to visit - an honor and pleasure to have had your company dear lady.
Until the next time...

Holy mole'!
First, we would both agree that Washington is the most evil site in this country, we have. Secondly, it's obvious that California is the most evil State in the union.
Being the case, there is little to convince me otherwise, that Colorado is the runner up to California - evil.
Don't fear for your health from this virus. You'll be okay as will your loved ones.

But, there is nothing currently going on that has caused me any ill-effects.
I don't know - I think it's all a joke (a nightmarish one, but a joke all the same).

If I send you a song wpuld you listen?
Its me performing and its old school music

I've once looked up the list of recessions, and found it peculiar that those in the last ~70yrs have been relatively short and resulted in minor ***gdp declines (percentage wise), compared to the 19th century. It's a bit disconcerting. My father's always anticipating some sort of cataclysmic economic event, which is mayhap a tad overly pessimistic.

I find it preferable, not having to take such dangers into account; always preparing for the worst case scenario as is. We're in the subtropical zone and separated from the oceans on all sides, and there's only the mostly inactive great rift valley engendering unnoticeable earthquakes periodically. The latest "disaster" was 4yrs ago, when it snowed in the mountainous region more heavily than the past 50yrs or so, and a large city was closed off for the weekend with makeshift shelters due to inadequate snow plows, a flock of curious visitors without snow tires whose vehicles became stranded along the narrow roads, and various lack of preparation. I alone showed up for work that day (mother deemed it unwise), outside of the city's residents, and left in the middle to catch the first bus available after ~2-3hrs wait since none going in my direction showed up. City was closed ~2hrs later.

Nurse, huh. That'd be good, methinks. My aunt with her ~20yrs experience is quite knowledgeable with regard to medical practices, whereas I can't say I've met any exceedingly helpful doctors. Hopefully they're aware of how physically strained sports such as these tend to end abruptly with a permanent injury, and take their alternative route seriously simultaneously.
Happy birthday to her, then. Did she celebrate a "sweet 16" or somesuch?

I never really had a clue of it either. What does he enjoy doing, and excel at?

Hum, I wonder what he's planning to buy with all that money.

Quite the tragic tales. I don't think it's conceited to deem this work as one of your most meaningful. These kids don't have a role model for the most part, nor support, so gravity would take its natural course without a strong aspiration.
I've never been very talented at aught but math & programming, nor the least bit charismatic, so to be a lodestar for anyone would be the fantasy of a fool. Nevertheless, I try to make a small difference for my circle, where possible.
7 years is really something, to observe all this darkness on a daily basis.

Not sure I follow; By this, you mean the victims' conduct was betimes unlawful or immoral?

Per tradition, baked a cake and decorated it. Put a favourite symbol on it, was a tad messy. Otherwise, I don't much like commemorating it. 27, although for a while had the notion it was 28. Am the most absent minded mathematician I know.

Thanks.

Well, it beats stagnation or losing money over time, as might incur other investments without careful micromanagement.

I guess that doesn't sound so bad. What about natural disasters - tornadoes, typhoons and the less notorious ones - got that sort of thing covered adequately, does the coverage tend to fall into purgatory?

How old are your kids? Have you got a sense of the sort of occupational preferences they have by now?

I just threw a number when I said decade; no idea how long it is in practice, but it's probably the same as elsewhere.
Imagine a place serving as a haven for the entire world's prosecuted bankers, and you've got an idea of what it's like here. :)
('fcourse I jest, but policy does tend to be mandated either based on religion or copied from the usa / uk, ostensibly.)

Guess that's one reason we had / have helpcom, to vent anent these ill defined little vexations.

Victim advocate, huh. Don't think we have those around here - victims are at the mercy of the court & constabulary (or lack thereof), supported by their own family, friends, psychologists & lawyers, and must find determination within.
As for juvenile diversion, what did you make of it? I presume you were mostly in contact with the youths who sought reformation / redemption, but were you affected by seeing & listening to the troubled lives they lead?

Father oft stated that his income is secured through this dwelling, renting out and moving to a cheaper country. Personally I haven't much faith in the pension system, kinda dubious it'll still be there in 40yrs.
There's always some amount of friction when in constant contact with someone. Are you particularly agitated by having to explain in their level of understanding, or behaviour?

As it happens, father mentioned the other day houses in the usa are usually built of wood, in contrast to the block standard here, so deterioration is a serious factor. Have you experienced such major renovation - is it a costly or troublesome process?

Admittedly, haven't heard of that bombing, but from a few numbers it seems to have been quite severe. PTSD therapy?

It's ~127 months (100 - 187) to acquire a dwelling. Vehicles oft leased through the workplace (at employee's expense).
Amongst the bourgeoisie, some seem to embrace a hedonistic lifestyle; couples are eligible for a governmental raffle of significant discount in new projects (which seems like a big hoax to me, as most winners have been waiting ~6yrs and those who got anything, complained of quality cutbacks matching the discount); enslave themselves to debt for a decade or two; emigrate; hop betwixt rentals; stay with the family.

How come? Are you concerned it might be inadequate, or with your own skill / forbearance, or summat?

Yep, that's the 2 room median. For 5-6 rooms with <200 square meters, it's more like $1.5 - 2m. Only place where you might find a large patch of land (to rent for 99yrs) and more reasonable prices is the desert half.

I've been told before how part time doesn't really reduce the expenditure in practice (though half considered it as manipulative statements). Optimally, I'd prefer ~8hrs a day and the weekend off, akin to the european ways, and <1hr travel time each way.
What did you study & work in?

Ah, isn't that basically a full time job for several years?

That's quite the investment in realestate. Around here, without some sponsorship program or another, the smallest apartments start around $500k. Father's owned one for a long time; it has involved quite a bit of work, repairs every few months (he's highly opposed to handyman expenditure unless required) and years when residents leave. But yeah, says it's a worthwhile investment in the long run.

Aw, you're not old, just well seasoned. And you have the kids keeping you busy, better than some boss who appreciates naught more than the bottom line.

I figured, since I wasn't studying for a master's degree specifically, that a larger gap would raise eyebrows, without any reliable upside. 'fcourse, my parents have been saying that since day 1 (or earlier), but I'm hopelessly rigid with certain plans of action.

Homeschooling? Do you teach them?
Eh, wouldn't buying a house be counterproductive for that purpose - mortgage & such commitments?

Completed studies to some extent, actively seeking employment. It's proving more difficult than it should be.

I just didn't kiss my parents ***ass like my brother and sister. My dad was a doc and got a lot of respect from everyone except me... we fought all the time. Couldn't be in the same room with each other from the time I was about 12.

But yeah when I grew up we decided we were really a whole lot alike and I got along better with him than anyone ever got along with him. Well except for my mom... And then in some surprise move when he died in his will I got a lot more than my brother and sister. I understood but they both felt really ripped off. It's crazy because he had bought them both houses and put my sister's husband through college too. I don't think my sister ever bought a car, just got mom and dad's old ones when they bought a new one every couple of years. I never asked him for anything and didn't get it until he died. Weird.... I guess we had a different kind of respect for each other. He had a whole desk full of IOU's from my brother too, where he was borrowing a thousand or a couple of thousand all the time, it was funny as hell. I'm just not the kind of person who can hold my hand out like that.

My dad kicked me out, changed the locks, called the cops on me and put a restraining order on me just after I turned 17. I lived in a stairwell for a week and then the woman who was "our family coinselor" (my dad was mandated into counseling)... anyway, she found out and hunted around town to find me and then put me in a shelter for abused women. I have two boys and a girl, and yes they are grown. My oldest is a boy and he works with me, so it is great! He was born in 1988 and my daughter in 1990 and my youngest son was born in 1991.. It's hard to believe my baby boy will be 27 this year. He still seems like a little kid.

My daughter got married and moved out at 19, but she has a daughter so we see her and our grandchild a lot! The oldest son that works with me is a video game junkie and he never leaves his room. Gets up and goes to work with me and then comes home and camps out in his room until it's time to get up and work again.

My youngest son comes and goes and I never know where he is. Sometimes he stays gone for days at a time, he is a lot like I was at his age. Always chasing girls or partying with his friends. Everyone says he's my clone, looks like me, has a great sense of humor and a million friends, no time to hang out at the house!

I love Tennessee, it's a really beautiful place if you like hills and woods and lakes and streams. I grew up in Indiana and it was all flat with hardly any wooded areas. Mainly agricultural plots of corn that go for miles and miles and miles without any hills or mountains or anything but corn and beans...

My wife grew up here in Tennessee and loves Florida too. She could hang out on the beach every day forever. It's too hot and dry there for me.

I know how you feel about your kids. I do everything I can to keep my kids here but they are moving out as I type this. Been looking at apartments for a couple of months... I'm like why? I let you live here for free and we have 4 bedrooms there's no reason to move out. It's embarrasing to live with mom and dad though, I understand. Heck I moved out when I was 18 but my mom and dad made me start paying rent as soon as I got out of high school. They couldn't wait for me to leave.
