I dunno if its me

Say I am the pedestrian. A car is heading toward me on my left. Since it is getting dark out the car's lights are on. On my right the same thing; a car is heading towards me with his lights on too. I wish to cross the street but I'm not at a cross walk though one is nearby just 40' away.

WHY WOULD I TRY TO CROSS THE STREET WHEN I CAN CLEARLY SEE TWO CARS EACH COMING TOWARD ME IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS????

Do any of you work remotely and own a puppy/rambunctious dog?

Yes

We have another hurricane coming this way.

Both Ian and Nichole did damage in the state. Huge areas of water getting pushed sideways can be dangerous to trees, electric poles and mobile homes. Our state has an abundance of all three. As a family we were spared expensive damage by both. We did sustain damage to our chain-link fence though. All is good.

I've got a friend in Key Biscayne I can't get ahold of. Did it get hit?

I'm sure they got some heavy winds and rain as large as it was. But no, they did not take a direct hit from it. I am roughly 60 miles south of Tampa and Ian came ashore 70 more miles south of us. The wind was so strong it emptied 3 rivers north and are now just filling back up and causing more flooding and damage to streets and bridges. Hope your friend is okay. Cell service should be restored sometime Monday or Tuesday.
