Is this site still owned by CBS?

Nope. When they shut down- they offered the original source code and data to anybody willing to take on the project.

Unfortunately, nobody grabbed the source code, but luckily the data was picked up and imported into a different style forum. Fast forward a few years and they let use pick up the old data as well as the new data collected by their forum and import it into our archives here.

But otherwise, CBS essentially dropped the project and said anybody could pick it up if they wanted to, so here we are. ๐Ÿ˜„

Oh okay I dont know why they dropped it maybe ppl were fighting too much but glad the site is back... it does help.

Nope. It's currently owned and operated by me- an individual with no relation to any company in regards of the site.

Oh okay. I guess you bought it from CBS then if you don't mind me asking?

I live in Colorado and have lived in all parts of this one state for my whole life.

I love the mountains! But living IN the mountains is pricey!

I love the beach, too.

My perfect scenario would be to have a summer house in Colorado and a winter house in Florida or the Carolinas....

Housing in CO is going up, up, up. Bought a 4 bed/2 bath 1800 square foot home in the mountains in 2000 for $135k.

Can't even get close to that now. I don't think there are any houses in Colorado for less than $200k, and that would be a real fixxer upper

I sure am missing those 2000 prices. The price hike we're seeing these days is atrocious.

I was thinking of West Coast too in particular San Francisco, LA, Pasadena or other places in California. Much of the computer industry is there so it seems a good place for IT people.

Oh it was a long story... A "friend" persuaded me to invest in something was low risk and high in return. Stupidly I agreed in the end I was left with nothing but the cruel truth that he had lied to me and used me, and I went through a long process dealing with the police but was told they could do nothing as he used a legal loophole, had a bad experience with the police too, they were horrible, rude and unhelpful.

I don't have time to get a pet ... I don't have time to look after them and feed them I barely have time for myself :(I would love to get a rat...Are they attention seeking and loving?? The hamsters that I had never seemed to like me petting them... their lives are quite short too :(

Sorry about that.

Rats I've spent a short moment with those white rats in a pet shop and they seemed loving enough but really rabbits especially female bunnies are very loving but do need to be taken care of but its worth the time and money spent to take care of them.

Doves dont require much care and are pretty loving once they recognize you but the males can be noisy when they coo at the female. Budgies require even less care but they get scared of you.

You know a for apple, b for ball kinda books

A well written and beautifully illustrated one will appeal to a much wider age range, but these books are generally targeted toward older toddlers and younger preschoolers. My three year old loves every alphabet book he sees, but he has for a long time.

I've written three such books and one is even on amazon :)
Its got great pictures in it, very high quality.

I was just wondering what the age range should be, lol.
