I am posed with a conundrum.

Jonathon, If you want to chat with me on facebook messenger I will try to help you. I might even be able to recommend a great trainer in your area. But I will need more details about what everyone was doing when the bite happened.

I would also recommend getting the dog checked by a vet. Tell the vet about the aggression, be as open as you can (they dont judge) because the more details about the symptoms that you can give, the less tests that they might have to do and the less costly that is!

i heard.. not saying its true.. but dogs have genetic issues nearing end of life.

True. There are medical problems (genetic or not) which can have symptoms of aggression or sensitivity, cancers, thyroid issues, joint pains ect. Pain is a biggy in causing aggression as a symptom. In that case the medical problem needs treating and in 90% of cases the behaviours will reduce.

i learned that german sheperds bite their masters nearing EOL

Not true. Again, any dog may bite if it has a medical condition, however, it is not true that its specific to a breed.

long ago my little brother 5yrs such .. being a dog lover .. hugged bit too hard on this old dog.. and the dog snapped and bit n ripped his lower lip..

he had to get sitches but bro lived.. and even now i dont notice it.. unless mentioned.

This was probably a long time coming, dogs will tolerate a lot, but most do not like being hugged tightly or restricted in such a way. Kids tend to poke, prod, wind up, pull ect on dogs which is why kids need careful supervision at all times and need to be told to give the dog space when the dog is feeling stressed. We all have a threshold where we will snap, dogs are the same. Some are higher than others and tolerate a hell of a lot before reacting.

You know what slash? I want to say thank you.

This toxic thread has opened my eyes to something within me.

This thread would have ended many many replies ago if either of us could just let it go.

And it’s something I really struggle with in life. Letting things go, usually in the form of over thinking but obviously here too otherwise I wouldn’t keep checking notifications everyday.

I realised that I need to let go of a lot more things. I need to let go of the past. I’m a different person now In so so many ways. I’m an entirely different woman to the girl that ended up here. I’m happy, I’m bettering myself, I’m independent. And I don’t wish to be in such a negative environment.

I’m gonna let this go.

I think you’re wrong and that’s the last thing I will say. I won’t be checking replies again. I won’t be replying anymore.

I just hope you manage to find some love and acceptance of people who are different to you. The world isn’t as sinister as you think it is. Maybe you think that’s what I choose to believe. And so what if it is. If it brings peace and happiness to me then it’s all that matters. I’m not gonna argue the toss with someone about it.

I hope you find peace too.

You mean like Marie curie, Ann tsukamoto, grace hopper, Rosalind Franklin, Stephanie kwolek and Shirley Jackson. A few women there that have laid foundations to some of the greatest things in history.

And if you think your patented toothbrush is in their league then you truly are cuckoo. How much have you made from that? Sweet FA is my guess. But sure, paint yourself as one of those mighty white Christian men who think they own the world. Anyone can get a patent as long as it’s different from other things. It doesn’t mean it’s a good idea

Interestingly in the uk we have had two female prime ministers, a female first minister, the queen, head of police and fire are also both female.

Also the sufferegettes fought and died for women to vote. If I was in that time, I would have joined them.

I wonder what the reason is for the magic books discrimination. Hmmm? Control perhaps? You betchya.

And finally, you believe the earth is flat so you can’t really call me dense now can you? Lmfao.

Its become quite clear that it doesn't matter what I say, you will still attempt to be patronising and condescending. Its also clear that you despise women, as well as people who are not like you.

Its extremely arrogant, and laughable to think that christian patriarchy is responsible for 'nearly every invention and monumental feat ever accomplished in the whole history of man'

Still not sure what the obsession with burkas are... either way i would rather die than be oppressed by any religion. And thats only because i have rarely seen anyone be improved by being in any way religious (theres actually only 1 person i can think of). you say your religious, yet you appear with a disgusting, elitist, discriminatory attitude, everything your so called religion teaches against.

Ok Im out, you keep flogging your dead horse.

Burkas are old fashioned values, and im not sure what they have to do with anything.....

If you want we can keep flogging the same dead horse of the argument, but
I'm kinda bored of it, we're not going to agree....

If you want to bring god into it. he crated man and woman. men created the hierarchy of who seems to be more important, and just because its in a book it doesnt mean jack ****shit. Show me the proof and I will change my attitude, until then, the sky fairy is all in your mind.

The 'biological standards' are actually social hierarchies formed by generations before us. Theyre starting to unravel.

Elders are no longer in charge, young people have voices and opinions which can be aired easily and loudly. They have the power to influence change.

The generations before us would rather things continue as they always would. Men in charge, women stay at home and look after the kids. The youth respect the elders. And it doenst happen anymore. We are more equal. There is more acceptance. I dont know why there is anything wrong with that.

I dont disagree that being transgender is a mental issue. But not enough is known about it just yet. Perhaps like being gay, being transgender cannot be changed.

Being born in the wrong body must be a horrible feeling. Not feeling comfortable with yourself, hating everything to do with the gender you were born as. If we can help people love themselves, then why shouldnt we?

Or are you only worried about yourself and how YOU feel?

Im sure you are quite welcome to organise straight pride. Alternatively, gay pride also welcome straight people, why not join in and party with everyone?

Do you think that minorities shouldnt fight for their rights to be included in society?

Or is it that we have had a status quo, everyone knows there place and accepts it, for so long that change is scary? And the 'dominant' group is now a little less dominant?

Have a little google search about narcissistic parents, and there’s a good sub reddit about it too. I never realised my mum was like that until I joined reddit. But it does explain a lot
