I need to bring food for a party.

But the person who was going to take care of getting the food is ill.

Where do I find food to bring to said party? It must be vegetarian, if that matters.

I made some mushroom risotto. I put too much black pepper tho.

I do like black pepper...everyone seemed to like it, and like that it had a lot of pepper. Whew.

Theres all kinds of stuff you can take. Potato salad, macaroni salad, chex mix any kind of chip and dip not to mention nacho's use your imagination.

I hate what passes for macaroni and potato salad at most parties and i could have brought chips or something but that would have been just one bag among many and i wanted to bring something substantial.

I seriously considered nachos but i didnt have those ingridients and the place that makes the best nachos by me does not do catering trays of them.


The risotto actually worked out beautifully, though i still wish i put less black pepper.

Veggie trays are also often disappointing. A lot of times its just random, barely seasoned veggies and doesnt taste like anything.
