So I watched all the terminator movies after terminator 2 and...

Some were pretty good. But WHY TF DIDN'T THEY DO THIS LONG TIME AGO???????

It makes so much sense to have Sarah in the Terminator because frankly, SHE IS the terminator movies. Arnie was cute(okay, homicidal and scary) and absolutely required but c'mon, Sarah was the Terminator and Terminator 2 movie. It makes so much sense to have Sarah in them that because she wasn't - I thought the woman was DEAD!

WTF IS WRONG WITH THESE IDIOTS AND WHY DIDN'T THEY BRING HER BACK UNTIL NOW???

All I can say is DUH PEOPLE!

Well, it's good to see they've brought back Linda Hamilton.
Like Arnold, she got old.

Also, the only reason you didn't see her in many of the Terminator movies is because different actors roll with different directors (there are a few exceptions).

It seems James Cameron is back in the Director's Chair - of course, he directed the first Terminator movie (and on case you weren't aware he also wrote and directed "Aliens").

"Hudson"
"Hicks"
"Bishop"
"The Latino Chick"

Most of the actors that played in "Aliens" also could be found in the Terminator movies.

But, James Cameron did not direct all of the Terminator movies - hence - this is why we did not see Linda Hamelton after the second T-movie (not to mention that Hollywood didn't really care for her).

But, she has endured and seeing her in a T-movie is totally classic and pays homage to the retro days of the 80's.

I'm excited!

There hasn't been a good John Connor since Edward Furlong either. But I think he has other issues on his plate that might make it hard for him to return to any big deal hollywood movie.

I think in my heart Terminator 2 will always be the last Terminator Film...too much timey wimey BS in the other ones for my brain to compute it as being the same series.

Linda Hamilton, who plays Sarah Conner, just so happened to be married to James Cameron....and later divorced there-from.
Unless you're in the ****porn industry, it's hard to get into a film when the director is becoming your ex....
Seems they kissed and made up after all these years.

I never watched the Sarah Connor chronicles.
It seemed like cheating on T1 and T2.
Also they only seemed to appeal to and be enjoyed by the younger generation that didn't watch the terminators 1st time round.

I haven't seen the new one yet. I like that last one Genisys with the old ***ass Schwarzenegger, but maybe because I grew up with him and I'm old now too.

3 and 4 were eh. I could watch the first one right now and still love every minute of it. Yeah Ed Furlong was John Conner, I don't like the new ones. Emilia Clark can be Sarah Conner forever though, Linda WHO? Damn why did they bring her back? Does she flashback to my girlfriend at least? Of course not, you can't get that much uglier............ ouch. Give me the reigns to this pony, I'll drive her off a cliff in a minute.

Never did like Linda Hamilton from the start. And when you compare her to Emilia as Sarah Connor it's not even a contest.

I suppose to boil it down - Emilia IS prettier than Linda even if you compare them evenly according to age. Emilia even made a great Sarah Conner....but only to a point.
I wasn't as convinced about her badassery as I was when it came to Linda. Also, Linda has a better narrative than Emilia - she has a Smokey voice like Lauren Bacall or Bette Davis.
And finally....I'm tired of great American movies whose characters have been pimped out to UK actors and actresses.... What? As if we don't have enough of our own actors to fill the role? I'm also tired of seeing the character of American heros becoming "world friendly" in a politically correct environment.
