I've lost something very special to me.

It might sound silly to some, but I deleted a bunch of pictures a while ago while trying to clean off my phone. I realized today that in that batch was a picture that was really precious to me. I've done everything to try to get it back, but it looks like it's really gone gone. I'm really upset about it. I think it's because I'm having a hard time today. Maybe I need to get more sleep.

I don't really expect any help from this. I just needed to rant to somebody and I'm feeling alone.

There's a difference between the pictures and the real thing.
As long as you have the real thing, the loss of pictures should be no big deal.

If the pic file hasn't been overwritten you could try to use Recuva via your computer with the phone being used as a storage device.

That's part of why it's sad. I've lost the real thing. I was looking for the picture to reminisce and I know I have the memory, but the memory fades and changes and just isn't the same.

It's on an iPhone, which stores pictures after you delete them for 30 days, then deletes them for good. I didn't realize it was in that batch until the time limit was up.

Iโ€™m so sorry that happened. My condolences :( Are you able to ask others if they have pictures? Itโ€™s not the same, but it might help.
