Electric Stove Tips?

I am going from using a gas stove to an electric with the coil heating elements.

Any thoughts on how to avoid burning myself and cooking efficiently?

Don't touch the heating element(s) with your hand(s).

Once burned, twice wary.

There isn't a whole lot of difference between them. Something that I have noticed is that typically gas stoves heat up faster, and cook hotter. So it can take a little longer on an electric range.

I also believe that the controls on a gas range are much more granular.

I went from electric to gas because I use all cast iron pots and pans and get a better and more even heating with gas than electric. The main thing with electric is if you have children in the house you should get heat covers for the elements just in case. With children if it can happen it will. Have a great day ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Yea i am finding certain small things take twice as long. It felt like the flame on the gas stove was more focussed and efficient
