Way over due

finally went hell with it and got my windows 10 cd upgrade. 100 bucks but sure beats buying an expensive POS (with loads of hidden bloatware) especially when my current 12 yr old custom pc is still kickass.

for a long time i became very famillar with xp and vista and wouldn't leave it till now because alot of the software shifted support from it... guess it was sentimental thing :/

any IT people know any tweaks to manhandle this new OS to my liking? or if there's certain things to know about..

I hear Windows 10 isn't that great. Glad I don't have it.
I have an old Slimline HP with Windows 7 and I like it.
The world can move on without me because I'm not giving it up.

once a upon a time i bought a 250 laptop with win 8 AND a free win 10 upgrade.. few months later.. the POS locked up , closed power supply dried up within a year and couldnt do ****shit. My only regret was.. not foreseeing this is the business model of the future market .. avoid at all cost.. choose wisely.

i kill my laptops too often to spend too much on them, spilled a whole beer on one, fried it, spilled a glass of lemonade on another, fried that one, just last week i thought i fried this one by wiping the keyboard down with too wet a rag but it came back up the next day, whew...

Make the real leap... Go Linux! You will be glad you did and never look back! As long as you give yourself the time needed to really learn it the way you did Windows.

I haven't paid for an upgrade or update in 14 years... Its been amazing.
