i'm losing my home.

not that it won't be a relief. but it's my home. i may not should stay here forever, but i would have stayed longer if i could have.

all the drama to keep it up, may be a lot of horrible ****shit to deal with, but at least it was my ****shit. now it's going away probably forever.

I don’t get it. Why should it be ‘ a relief’ does this mean you have other places to go?

All good things come to an end....
It's time for a change.
Just remember - a house is only a house, it is YOU who are the home.

Perhaps you should consult your legal aid society

I sort of disagree there, Al. A house maybe a house to you,but some hold precious memories which are irreplaceable. I’m speaking from my own perspective here and I know how it feels to be uprooted with little to no option.

Have you got somewhere else to go, Poster?

I'm sorry for your loss.

I lost my house to foreclosure a few years back. It was awful.

Yes I'd have moved back into moms house. So a financial relief but would lose my relative independence I've tried to enjoy for the last 17 years.

I'm approaching 40 and no one my age wants to live at home with mom! (love her but not the point)

My roommate and I decided to end our arrangement abruptly and I cannot afford rent alone. However since posting this we've worked it out. False alarm.

Good! You might want to have a backup plan for if something like this happens again.

Bad news: this likely can happen again.

Good news: there's an open bedroom at Mom's house!
