Destructive "friendships" are horrible, but I don't think you've given enough information to get very helpful advice.

Frenimies can sometimes be better than friends.

For instance, usually before doing some random act of stupidity I ask someone near by to "hold my beer..."
Now I would never ask a close friend this, but a frenemy(?) You bet!
