How do you stop a panic attack.

Is the trigger what was said or who was saying it? If it is the person just ask them to stop talking to you. Easy fix. If it is what was said that is harder to deal with.
I am guessing that perhaps you are female, yes? If you are like myself we have a inate ability to turn one sentence or even a phrase in that sentence and connect to thousands of other things; totally unrelated to what the person actually meant for you to understand. And each of these thousands of things are like a hundred daggers pointed right at your head from a very short distance. They never move, but the fear it instills in our mind is real.
Learning how not to twist and turn what somebody says to you is harder to discern and relate to. You can find books or published medical journals that can help you zoom in on this issue. I would however recommend a different route. Find a place to relax and unwind and watch the following video.
