I'm a mother & grandmother. With my husband, George X. Hale, I had two wonderful children, Morgan Hale & Alice Hale. Alice died of #SUDEP -- Sudden Unexpected Death in EPilepsy -- on 4/21/2015, right before her 30th birthday on 5/1. I miss her more than anybody could know.

Son Morgan & his wife Cassandra have a wonderful five year old son, Griffin. We just visited Griffin & Morgan in Port Orchard, Washington. Griffin's a brilliant boy!

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Iowa City, Iowa, and I lived in Des Moines, Iowa, until I was six or seven years old when Mom and Dad bought a radio station (KMEL-1340) in Wenatchee, Washington. I grew up in East Wenatchee, on the Columbia River in central Wash. Wenatchee is the Apple Capital of the World & the Buckle of the Power Belt of the Great Northwest! What a slogan! There were hydroelectric dams at both the north and south ends of town on the Columbia. Cheap electricity.

Where do you live now?

I live in Spokane, Washington, with Alice's dad, George X. Hale. Never wanted to live here, but I've been here half my life (33 years) so I guess I'm getting used to it.

What is the highest level of education you have attained?

I went to two years of college.

What subjects did/do you enjoy most at school?

English, History

What's your favorite sport or sports?

Baseball
Alice is nagging me (I feel her with me always) to say "Hockey". I have only enjoyed watching hockey when Alice played.

My computer broke.

I've been struggling, trying to keep up on my phone, but that's hard for me. Finally, I went out yesterday and bought a cheap ($200) laptop. I'm not sure what I think of it, but at least I can see what you're up to! I hope everybody is happy and healthy!

I have people to whom I'd like to respond, but I also have people where I live reminding me there is much for me to do before the sun sets.

I know Alice never had trouble. She lived on Help and loved all of you. So somebody asked to friend me & I'll figure out how to do that. Some have followed me and I don't know if they want to friend me.

I think this is the site (help.com) where my daughter, Pink Freud (Alice) modded.

right? I'm not Alice. She was Wonder Woman! I'm so proud of her! and I miss her terribly.

It makes me feel so good to read all your great comments about her. Now I'm going to go read what's here.

I am having trouble getting used to Help and how it works.

Are there emojis or symbols or something I can click to indicate I liked the post you all left me? I can't tell what everything means. I have avoided the flag, because that sounds like it's flagging admins to come see trouble.

Alice loved Help and the people here so much that I feel obligated to help, so I'll rack my mind until something pops out of my brain. It might not be a pretty explosion, but I'll think of something.
