When you call a national health crisis a hoax and tell people untrue information about it, yes, I blame him for making the pandemic worse because, well, it's true.

Trump is definitely his own man, and he only looks out for himself, his own political power, and his own wealth. If he thought he could have been elected as a Democratic candidate, he would have ran as a Democrat. He's has no principles or moral code beyond what's-good-for-me. Cutting WHO funding is the latest example of him sabotaging pandemic preparedness to score political points and shift the blame away from himself.

Not everything he's done is bad but he's clearly corrupt and whatever little good he's done isn't worth the damage he's done and people he'll cause to die, or the harm he's going to do to our democracy.

Like, saying that China lied to the WHO is really saying that CHINA did something wrong, not that the WHO did.

But you know, let's cut funding and make our pandemic preparedness even lower than it was before the outbreak started...cus THAT'S the direction we need to go in.

Trump said he's going to cut funding to the WHO because he is blaming it for how bad the outbreak is.

Now, it might be true that the WHO made mistakes, but to cut funding is kinda like saying that the outbreak would have been better without the WHO, which doesn't make any sense.

It's kinda like saying, hey, I swung at punch with my left arm and it missed. GUESS I'LL CUT OFF MY LEFT ARM THEN.

And honestly if anyone can still support Trump after this that's what I can't reconcile with intelligence or even something resembling a concern for one's own personal survival.
