Does anyone have any tips on forgiveness?

I think you can forgive but that doesn't mean you wave a magic wand and it's all better.

There are people who hurt me in life who I'll never meet again and it doesn't really matter if I forgive them, and honestly, in my heart I don't think I ever have or will. But who cares? My forgiveness means little to them or myself.

As far as family...you forgive according to what is acceptable to you and what was done. My cousin has offended me in the past, never reaches out to me and acts like I am the jerk when I'm always friendly and welcoming when he's around at family functions.

But he was sick recently and I tried to reach out. I called him on the phone an he seemed to appreciate the gesture. I didn't take it that much further but I tried. It took a lot for me to do that, I'm not one for reaching out to people, big reason why I don't have many friends.

Anyway, that's the kind of material thing maybe you should think about when you are trying to forgive someone. You're right, you can't make yourself feel on way or another, but you can try and rebuild a burnt bridge or failing at that, get a support beam going before it crumbles before you can finish it.

In the not so distance past I was attractive and didnt even have to try to get a women.

I bet there are lots of women out there, the same age as you, thinkin' the same thing.

You just gotta find'em. Keep at it. Or don't, maybe you'd rather have time to yourself, I don't fault ya for that.

Approaching the preferred gender is hard for most people, it doesn't feel good to get rejected but unfortunately you have to swim through poop to find something nice in the world of dating.

After Clinton I have to admit my ignorance, I thought all impeached presidents were to be removed. I think this is the first president that was impeached and allowed to remain president?

I misspoke, impeachment is not an everday word and the way it works is kinda weird, and I've even heard news reporters accidentally misuse it.

The comparable legal term to "impeach" is "indict." Trump then was impeached, that is, formally accused and put on trial, but not convicted.

This did happen two other times in American history. Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were both impeached, put on trial, and acquitted in the Senate trial.

Nixon was clearly going to be impeached, but resigned before the House voted to impeach him, because he saw the writing on the wall.

I've heard somewhere that a group of high ranking republicans basically approached Nixon and said, "You're going to be convicted if you don't resign." Otherwise Nixon probably would have held on to dear life.

I'm using one of those blackhead removing nose strips right now.

PROBABLY what i'm gonna do is say to myself "those are some nice tips."

And then just not do anything about it.

But thanks.

It was kinda satisfying slowly peeling off the strip after.

Yeah, i don't think I'm gonna use it again. I just was curious to see what would come up.

It didn't actually remove any blackheads...I did have some really tiny super short noise hairs ON my nose though (I'm real hairy in general) and it ripped those out, so I consider that a win.

My nose tends to be oilier than the rest of my skin so I should look into that stuff you linked to.

Just cause I woke up from a nap and now I'm grumpy and groggy:

Do you think Republicans are going to regret not impeaching a President they know to be unethical, who's not even particularly popular when we're talking about the general public, lost the popular vote, and who they know probably did everything he was accused of in his impeachment trial?

Impeachment was a golden opportunity for republicans to do their civic duty without losing face with Trump supporters and nominate someone worthy for office for November, there was still plenty of time to nominate someone at that point, the Dems didn't even have a nominee yet.

Sigh.
