Looked through some of the archives and found a few more regulars (At one point or another) that are still missing that I don't think have been invited yet:

Yeah, I tried to get the mobile version pretty usable, but didn't spend a ton of time on it. We could make it really slick so that it's more app-like, but I don't know if it would be worth it or well taken. ๐Ÿ˜„
Although- half of the sites visitors are using mobile devices. A couple using tablets. Desktop is, surprisingly, the least used device thus far.

All that said, you can add the home page as a shortcut on the home screens of the devices. Then it looks like an app, and you're only one-click away! (Still no notifications though. ๐Ÿ˜ž)

In my eyes, the only real benefit to having an app is having push notifications on your screen instead of emails. (Which I've toned down because they were sending WAY too often previously)

Yep! We host the avatars, but any images or videos posted with comments or posts are externally hosted and just pulled from the original site. So like you said- if that side goes down or otherwise removes those images, theyโ€™ll be gone.

Have you added your age? Can you verify that it got set?
(There was previously a bug that didnโ€™t show you an error if it didnโ€™t get set properly, and you canโ€™t set it without adding your age first.)

Reason #1 is that the old site didnโ€™t have it.

At the release, I wanted to be as close as possible to the old site, then build with features by request from there.

(Reason #2 is that images need to be hosted somewhere, which costs money. ๐Ÿ˜œ)

Thatโ€™s correct! Pictures and images within the page title would get messy on the home page and notices and all of that. :P
