YES!!
And the thought of maybe HAVING to be without them wreaks havoc on your heart and soul..oh yes.

- or....the thought of losing them suddenly or tragically stops your heart long enough to nearly kill you.

Exactly.

Spot on.

Not everyone finds their one true love.
If you're lucky enough to do you need to treasure every moment.
Don't let life and stress get in the way.

Memorize every detail of their face, every trait, every smile, every look and touch.
The way they smell, how their hand feels in yours, that smile they have just for you.

You never know when it mร y be your last time to see those things

Very few people find the one for a 2nd time.

Update on my momโ€™s condition (Ilse/Aisha).

First off- my deepest condolences. Iโ€™m so sorry to hear about this, Manthy. Losing a family member- especially one youโ€™re very close to- is heart wrenching. Weโ€™re all here for you.

@soco Personally donโ€™t see the point- I can sometimes be a little dull in these areas.
I know itโ€™s been discussed to have a commemoration page of some sorts- in addition, we could also add an icon to the user similar to the star mods receive, if thatโ€™s the goal here?

Making her a moderator isn't a mark of honour, mods are just people to keep others in line.

I don't recall her showing any interest in being a mod.

I'm totally on board with doing something to honour her, she is an amazing woman.
We used to talk on a daily basis and that only stopped when she moved somewhere with poor internet.

She is a fantastic person and deserves so much more than what she has been dealt.

bostrom's simulation argument

If we look at how computer games were in their early years, they were very basic, bad grafics , lots of glitches etc

Now they're near perfect.

For the universe to be a simulation those same rules of advancements would apply.

We haven't had lots of glitches that have lessened over time in this reality

I've just rescued an owl

I received an email from the sanctuary I took the owl to

They've had to euthanize it

Unfortunately the damage to it's wing couldn't be fixed and it was suffering from extreme concussion

I'm absolutely gutted

What is your favorite planet?

Neptune.

It's fierce and extreme

Lol I was going to say Neptune too. Its so underrated. But I love Earth. I want everyone to move to Mars so I can have Earth to my self.

Everyone wouldn't fit on mars, it's a fair bit smaller than earth.

I was tied between Saturn and Neptune, the rings on Saturn are cool, but Neptune has more moons so that swayed it.
