How do I let go

Ohhh everything that music=life mentioned in their reply...โ€ฆ.
I am still learning this myself...
Be good to YOURSELF...treat yourself to things that you love.
Make time for the things that you want to do.
Being around other people helps.
Being alone...well...sucks...if you have to be alone a lot of the time.
But just be good to you....I wish you everything good...CaraMia

Dear Anonymous OP...
Though I agree, I missed a lot of "Sensitivity Snowflake Training" at the Institute of Double Speak and Monkey Flips.
....I would not have apologized at the end of this Post or lessened the truth by calling it a joke.
Honestly...it's a real gahdamm problem in our society.

It's a stupid *******fucking concept actually. If you really have a problem with millennials blame their *******fucking parents. Blame what caused the result not the result itself. Society as a whole is *******fucking sick all of you and blaming millennials is TOTALLY PASSING THE BUCK

As I said...."Double Speak."
Seems like - no....actually, you're full of it.
Pointing back the blame is like trying to drive looking through a rear mirror instead of the windshield.
Seems like the direction of your fur changes everyday you wake up. (Sorry for agreeing with you - not really.)
Go figure - lol!

Sorry about your dad :( but glad you have nice memories!

My father was always absent even when he lived..and then he died in 1988 when i was 11.

Mya, thank you for your reply.

Yeah, sometimes memories have a way of keeping us going, I think.
Mine are mostly sweet memories.
And I hope that all of us who have lost our parents can hold fast to those memories.

I wish you Love and Light, Mya.....Cara

Dearest Darling Mother

Dear Manthy...
I realize that you are going through the hardest days that you have ever known.
I am so so sorry for the passing of your Mom...
I understand completely.

Manthy, after my Mom passed, an old friend handed me a poem, hoping that it would help.

I am passing it on to you, Hon.
With the same hope...that it may help you in some way...

Along with the poem also comes a gentle hug...just because.

************************************************************

Do you want to talk about her

Every minute of the day?

Do you always think about her

When you walk and when you pray?

Do you grieve the day she left us

With a constant aching song?

Do you call out with a fresh cry

When you realize she is gone?

Do you long to see her sweet face

One more time before you die?

Do you talk to her when you're alone

And wait for her reply?

Do you? Do you?

If you do,

I want to talk to you.

For I know you understand.

We are allies in our grief

In this dry and thirsty land.

We will hold unto each other

As we share in what is gone.

As we share in what is gone.

Did you know her dreams of wholeness;

Did you hold them in your hands?

Did you listen to her pain's cry

As she wrestled with the sands?

Did you walk beside her walking

As her body fell apart?

Did you love her gracefully

As she loved you from the start?

Did you try in some small way

To make life easier to bear?

Did you share in her burdens

By showing that you care?

Did you? Did you? This I want to know

If you did, I want to talk to you,

For I know you were her friend.

You valued her as I did

And loved her to the end.

And loved her to the end.

Do you want to talk about her

Every minute of the day?

If you do,

Let's talk about her

Let's talk the night away.

**You loved this Woman. I was someone who would chat with her on this site.
But I knew immediately that she was a very special woman.
And I believe that you were BOTH blessed by being Mother and Daughter...

Wishing you Peace and Love at this time, Manthy....and always....Cara

I can't tell the difference between good intentions and manipulation anymore.

Have you been badly hurt, Anon?
Sounds like just that.
I believe that when we get hurt, the trust issue pops up quite quickly.
I think that we all lose trust at some time or another in our lives.
Please give yourself time to heal, ok?
There really are some great people in the world...not everyone is out to play the games.
Surround yourself with people who you DO have faith in...
I am so sorry that you feel so badly.
