Did DJT get a new nickname recently? I wasn't aware what Faux News was calling him yesterday...

Here's a weird little history/commentary the phrase.

Between this and the gingerbread people controversy, one might think newscasters have food on their minds lately.

You can indict a ham sandwich.

A term used to negate the argument of another person (in general).

Specifically meant to shed understanding to the other person that their accusations (or platform) is too universal. Lacking legalism.

Ex: "With charges like that, you can indict a ham sammich."

Anything goes.

Lacking a narrow view or specific.

Hope this helps....hopefully.

But you can't indict Hillary, no matter how many felonies she commits.

An indictment is a formal accusation of a crime. You can accuse anyone of anything but if you can't prove it (because they destroyed their computer for instance) it means nothing.

Senator Clinton was investigated by the FBI and the DOJ. Nothing was found to charge her with.
She did use her e mail to help plan her daughter's wedding. She deleted those emails. If deleting emails is such a bad crime you might as well charge every single American that has bought or used a computer, tablet, or smartphone because we ALL have. Including you.
