i just quit this site.

just now. when this post(https://help-qa.com/posts/1647-ugh-i-m-going-to... went nsfw i'm done here. "f word" this stupid website. This is SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'll find my help somewhere where there aren't so many child like minds around. some place more adult i guess. this site has become so pathetic i can't even talk here.

I don't know if your the same person who was complaining about this a few weeks ago, but I'll say what I said then: You're really getting worked up over the fact that maybe three people of the twenty who will view this site in a given week won't see your post.

Trust me. The people who you would want to be responding to your post are gonna see it.

You folks that believe in magic throw quotes around like "When writing the story of your life, don't let anyone else hold the pen" and "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." These are sweet quotes. They really are, but they don't really change or effect anything. They are not a road map to success just a potential motivation and I will always need more than someone's words to motivate me to my fullest. I need people to be up front, cut to the bottom line and stop bullshitting that's all. Be on the same page concerning what's in it for me and what's in it for you. All this other esoteric ****shit can go to hell.

When I signed up again to the site after it came back, I remember having to check a box in settings that allowed me to view nsfw posts. I don't know that everyone here is doing that or even looked at their settings to see if they're getting all posts including nsfw posts.

So I try not to create posts that are categorized by the site as nsfw because I want everyone to see the posts. But no matter how hard I try, they're usually categorized as nsfw!

Lano says a small small percentage of folks on the site would have it filtered out of view and the majority of members and visitors can in fact see them. I hope that's true. But all I can go on is what you guys can tell me.

I don't really know how you know that, or I feel like I would be able to confirm it myself.
It's hard to make non-nsfw posts (maybe i'm just a belligerent a-hole and can't help it i guess) and hard for me to just assume folks set their settings up to view nsfw posts.

So occasionally the thought crosses my mind to go somewhere I can more openly post without being plagued by a filter I can't seem to get around here at help.


And when a lot of them go nsfw after I've posted them, I have to sit and wonder why. Because I tried so hard to keep it clean. It's just a really bothersome feature imo.

Why is it metaphorical? Is there something physically stopping you from standing up, taking a shower, putting on your favorite clothes, opening the door and walking 'til you reach a better life?

Sometimes, you have to take a deep breath, and just GO.... It takes courage and it takes a fair amount of no-longer-care-what-anyone-else-wants but if you're miserable where you are, then change it. No one can do that for you. The journey may be long or short, but you must take every step of it for yourself.

As a former school counselor I am used to immature teens using f-bomb this and f-bomb that. They haven't learned how to express themselves any better. And when just about everything in your life causes you distress it is fair time to consider mature professional psychiatric therapy perhaps along with some coping skills. We are the mature adults in the room. We still are willing to help but you can't point to every living object and blame them for your lot in life.
If you decide to leave that is your choice. Probably not the last wrong decision you will ever make.
