You have to do, whatever you can't not do.

Our lives are not our own, from womb to tomb, we are bound to others Past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.

We're all part of a river that is flowing in a specific direction that is impossible to go against.

Or, if you like, we're all falling.

When you're falling it's hard to do anything else. But maybe once in a while, in important moments, we can fall with style such that we can control how and what direction we fall.

I love double negatives.

They always make people say:

I am over the every drop becoming the ocean bs though. People should try to take ownership of their own lives and do that well before being part of something bigger.

Almost everyone is not ready for that crap yet. Sorry but it's the truth.

its entirely a philosophical suggestion.. that we should break our own barriers and do what might we imagined were impossible.. until we overcome that.. we're rewarded with self gratitude and a sigh of relief once we hiked that mountain.

might i remind you .. its a suggestion, and its yours to take.

not an enforced bylaw, ultimatum or oppressed will. praise our freedom to chose your own making. nothing says like fate is what you make.

hike that mountain if you want to.

u/clydethebulldog aka Jebuz-Zeus has left the room.

Knowing strangers on platforms like these can leave a lasting impression. The OG site was where this philosophical, entertaining, thoughtful, and often irreverent character, lubricated the revolving community with consistency, levity, and reflection; peppered with some tunes from his spirit band, The Dead; and reasoned political reflection demanding more for the working class.

JZ will be missed on this blue carousel floating in this arm of the cosmos.

I couldn't leave thoughts for his family on the tribute page created by the location that handled his funeral, but if they do stumble across this, know that he would, from time to time, reference how he reveled in Greece with the mother of his children, 2 daughters he delighted in, a brother he could count on if need be, and a nephew in a Florida band he seemed to live vicariously through at times. The respect of privacy of others not mentioned suggests, not a lack of pride, but consideration of reputations, careers, and limits to what would add to threads where perspectives were being sought & shared.

These little peeks into who was behind the alien masked avatar, lent an authenticity to why it mattered to read the thoughtful affirmations, the entertaining distractions, and the seasoned ramblings of another in a shared humanity; fostering consistency to a community looking to help or be helped, as niche social media platforms replaced bulletin boards and forums where the public square moved from local cafes, to expanding national and global virtual spots to drop in and catch up or fill others in on whatever was filling the space between our ears, and the depths of our hearts.

I'll miss checking in, to see updates from someone who felt like a longtime coworker; another survivor of life you just wanted the best for.

Stairway to Heaven or Highway to Hell,
It was here, I finally grasped
We cannot worry about where we go once we pass,
Because we never worried where we came from
Once our first arrival on this marble had past.
Spread some kindness and have a blast.

You were one of the good ones. You mattered.

RIP JPC. You will not be forgotten.
