Yesterday was a hard day for all Americans.

We will get through it though. There is a first time for everything. Remember worst things have actually happened to this country and in recent history too. I'm sure we can all think of examples.

That doesn't stop me from being incredibly sad and depressed about it and i was stress eating and drinking bourbon last night but sometimes that's what self-care looks like.

I hope you're all feeling bad about this in the right way but also good about the fact that Congress reconvened only a few hours later and fulfilled the largely ceremonial duty of certifying the vote.

Lots of feelings.
