So i like beans.

I cook beans and onions. What i do is use canned beans. I will sautee some onion and/or garlic. Long slices of onion, not diced. When they are good and floppy i add the beans and then immediately at a little water to the pan. Just enough so the beans are all sitting in water and the water is sizzling. The starch from the bean goes into the water and makes it thicker kinda like a sauce. Keep doing that until the beans are done and the beams are nice and thicc.

Salt and pepper of course. Also cayenne if you like it spicy.

I made it recently. I feel like some of the beans were less cooked than others. Wtf???

Still tasted great but the texture was off.

Anyway that's all I wanted to talk about.

I make a similar dish, @Lano. I just add chopped canned tomatoes and some spices (dry veg seasoning, corriander powder, and cumin powder), veg stock cube, and eat it with basmati rice.

Ah, I've just made it today. I don't add corriander and cumin powder, that goes into my lentil curry. This bean curry takes red paprika powder! Bon apetit :)
