Anyone need to hire a good typist?

I'm at about 90 wpm at no less than 90% accuracy.

I know some html, css, and play with JS too if you find it useful.

No, but I'll keep your name and number in my Rolodex.

Hate to say it, but just typing skills, and a minor understanding of html/java, isn't going to open many doors. Typing skills alone aren't really that special. I mean sure, you could do customer service with some tech company maybe. Or as a phone solicitor, but those are the worst.

If you want to land something good, you'll need more impressive skills (as time goes on, this will only become more true).

There are transcription jobs for typists and they pay okay. I won't get rich but I won't be dirt poor either if I did something like that.

I type 89+ wpm with 95+% accuracy.

Was an executive assistant for 6 years. Again far from minimum wage. So thanks for trying to help but I disagree with most of your response.

However you're probably right about html/css skills being useless these days. I learned it too late to be of any help. Is fun though.

Typists can make okay money.

I pulled a school off paper and moved them to digital. I can tell you don't run a business lol

All of the additional skill I mention are beside the point. Typists can do okay. So if anyone is looking for any help with this let me know. Otherwise while I appreciate your humor, it's not needed.

Oh and btw this is just seeing if anyone needs project help. I'm not looking for a full time job. Just some extra money maybe.

Ever think about scribing? Colleges will often scribe their classes for the hard of hearing and others that might not be in attendance for some reason or another. Like the rest- won’t get rich off of it, but it’s good work, plus you get to sit in on classes for free. 😄

That's a great idea. I don't know how available closed captioning is either but I've heard there are jobs out there for cc for programs. There are a number of things that would be really fun.

I just can't get into a routine too much with another job. The job I have now needs quite a bit of scheduling flexibility.
