Husband is filthy.

Honestly there isn't a nice way to tell someone they have bad hygiene. And yeah his feelings will probably be hurt and he'll be offended.

Surely you can try to soften the blow as best you can, but it will still be a gut punch most likely. He may not realize that he's stinky...if he did he probably would shower. So he may be inclined to deny it.

Getting passed that initial step and hoping he doesn't blow up on you, i would take baby steps. Ask if he can shower at least once a week and brush at least once a day, (or at least brush and shower when he plans on being intimate).

As far as wanting a medal for watching the kid it really depends on the context...i would be concerned that the situation is fair and approach the discussion from that angle.

Maybe take these issues on one at a time so as not to overwhelm him.

Too much snow.

How much is too much? And why is it a problem, Lano?

Hope it melts soon though if it is so much trouble for you.

A. I have to shovel it. We got a foot a couple of weeks ago and now we just had 6 inches this past weekend. We're getting another couple of inchest tomorrow. And it's going to snow this coming weekend too.

B. I have social distanced plans that the snow is interfering with.

Too much snow.

Housemate trouble

I don't know, I guess he had a crush on me, and when he found out I was much older, he turned hostile.. He seems to be a bad loser?

I think if you explicitly rejected an advance from him this would make more sense, but simply finding out that you're older or that you are a mother is not something, by itself, would make a guy start hating you or, depending on his intentions or the way he sees things, even discourage him. That said people aren't always rational. But I wonder if there is something else at play that is making him act this way.

Perhaps you have done something to annoy him? I wonder if it's not something that can be settled with a simple discussion.

If that doesn't work, or you don't feel comfortable approaching him, maybe you should talk to your fellow housemates about it...they could be experiencing the same thing from this guy for all you know.

You can also try talking to the landlord I suppose.

I have never lived in an apartment or shared living situation so apologies if I sound naรฏve on all this.

after a couple weeks with my iphone.. learning all the tics n switch im able to adjust to it.. tho its only been a few weeks.. im confident that i'll pick up mastering the arts of iphone usage. it does come off as a solid phone.. just i hate the "inside purchases" to get the premium goodies etc. kinda like when microsoft xbox 360 first came out with separate hardware.. such as wireless connection and chargeable batteries.

Man those things sorta put me off.. i hope the day never comes when you buy a car.. but have to purchase an engine/battery to go with it.

personally i think the android was more convenient for me.. i never used the voice commands anyways.

Oh...apple is evil for sure. And they design their stuff to lock you into using their products, which is why i tried to switch to a different phone...thanks for reminding me of this...never going back to apple products.

Would love the perks of a GM card but they are not offering hybrid vehicles. My transportation needs (I like to go on road trips) necessitate the flexibility of a hybrid vehicle but I would like to use electric for day to day driving.

Where are you looking for cars??!?? My bank is GM and I have a car loan for a Acura MDX. They don't give a crap what car you buy. It doesn't have to be a GM product.

Oh I realize I was not clear. By GM I mean General Motors...they have a credit card...I think it's actually Visa lol.

Though maybe the real lesson of my parable is...if you have a device that works well with another device that you use a lot, maybe it's best not to switch devices?

The internet scholars will debate this for centuries.

I have limited experience here, but maybe this helps a little.

I get the sense that you are right on compatibility, in the sense that Apple seems to be better at that and it's technology is smarter and more intuitive.

To give the only specific example I have: I used to have an Iphone. and I use my phone a lot with my car.

I hook up the phone and can play music from the phone, listen to podcasts etc.

Then I switched to Android. I can still do this with Android.

But it worked A LOT smoother with the Iphone than with the Android. Especially in terms of voice commands.

I was very easily able to use voice with my iphone to ask it to play music, to send texts (I would dictate the text to the phone and it would send them no problem), and to basically make it do whatever.

With the Android for some reason it just doesn't work 99 percent of the time when I try to use a voice command. It says that I need to stop the car to use it which defeats the purpose of using voice commands.

So I don't know if that is directly relevant. Full disclosure, I have five shares of Apple stock so I have a vested financial interest in which phone you buy.
