Canada or Denmark is looking like a real possibility for me though.

Canada would be way too close to Trump for my taste.

He's a phony. They know, but they don't care! ๐Ÿ™„

It matters to some of them, I'm sure.

Also, this type of thing gives the lie to the president caring even a tiny bit about what happened in Minnesota.

Maybe he just wanted an excuse to clear out the protesters. Though if someone got killed in the process, i wonder if he'd feel so spiritual.

No! We have to stay and fight to take our country back! That buffoon cannot win! He's made too many enemies, and broken too many law

My biggest fear is that he will lose, clearly or unclearly, say he needs to stay in office or that the election was rigged and all the republicans and the military back him. That would be the end of the USA as we know it.

If there is something I can do to contribute to getting him out of power at that point, maybe I will stick around. But if everyone just shrugs their shoulders and says "ok" like they did with the Ukraine scandal I will run for the hills.

People joke about moving when they don't like a direction the country takes and I did too but it's getting serious.

I won't move if Trump gets reelected. At least not until things get a lot worse.

But if he loses but somehow manages to stay in office, then I will move.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trachodon

The thing you quoted did perk my curiosity and I read up on it.

Joeseph Leidy didn't guess what the dinosaur looked like from the teeth...he simply recognized that they were teeth that did not belong to any known species of animal and attempted to classify the new type of animal based on the teeth.

In other words, you find a tooth in your backyard. It's not a human tooth or any animal tooth that you know of. But you know that it's a tooth, and therefore must belong to SOME animal. So you decide to call the animal that this mysterious tooth belongs to "Toothy McTootherson"

Again, in other words: He gave the animal that they belonged to a hypothetical name for scientific reference. That doesn't mean he was saying he knew exactly what it looked like. And indeed, to this day, those specific fossils haven't been associated with a specific dinosaur, or any other prehistoric animal.

So it sounds like he hypothesized that the teeth belonged to some already known dinosaur that we already had other fossils from. Rather than guessing what the dinosaur looked like from just it's teeth.
